毫無亮點的一個酒店，説舊不舊，説新不新。房間喝茶的小奶包被上一個客人打開過，打掃衞生的沒看，繼續給我放着。早餐非常簡單，英式早點幾簡單幾樣之外一點沒多給點其他選擇，完全不值2000多價格。

A fabulous hotel. Exceptional reception / Restaurant staff. They couldn’t do enough for you. Great breakfast something for everyone. Upgraded to executive rooms and wasn’t disappointed. Definitely be back. Beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Thornton Hall is a good quality hotel with well trained and polite staff and good amenities.Also ample parking and good choice at breakfast.
My only issue would be the poor quality of lighting in our bedroom particularly if you want to do some work or apply make up

We received a lovely warm welcome from the staff who were really helpful with everything we needed. They helped with our bags, told us where everything was and ordered us a taxi etc.. our room was beautiful, clean with a huge comfortable bed. We used the spa which was very clean and I loved the outside hot tubs. We ate in the brasserie and the food was very tasty. Breakfast buffet was lovely too.

The room next to ours had a group of women, which was more than the people assigned to the room, like 6 or 7. they were listening to loud music and clearly drunk with booze in their room
Twice we complained to reception to get them to calm down and quieten down as a courtesy to us and other guests, however the hotel staff did not get them to do so. long and short we got no sleep and it spoiled our stay

Great hotel and location but…avoid a room anywhere near one of their function rooms. The walls are thin and no soundproofing. Room was very hot too

I stay at Thornton Hall a lot for business and I always find the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms are a good standard and Spa is very good (when I have time)

Absolutely lovely place this and highly recommended.
If you want treatments, I would advice you to book in advance as there was no space left when we arrived.
