Longs Hotel & Inn

Lovely, traditional old pub with a proper pub feel about it. Just how it should be. Room was clean and relatively comfortable, very odd though that the fire escape was through my room and people could break the fire seal on my door and enter the room should they have chosen to. This would have bothered some quite a lot a would suggest and should be made clear at point of booking. Cracking breakfast, good coffee. Well worth the money and would stay again. Thank you.

I've stayed at Long's no 2/3 times although not the closest or cheapest to the venue I'm attending its always been quiet, comfortable and an excellent breakfast sadly not this time. Having started out at 4am that day I was in bed early only to be rudely awakened at 12:30am by what sounded like a party going on in the Courtyard (this confirmed by another guest in room 5) the noise lasted until 2.30am. As I was travelling back Sunday evening a disturbed night was the last thing I wanted or needed. On reporting this Sunday morning the staff seemed nonplused commenting they'd have to speak to Tom who slept on the premises. This leave questions - if staff sleep on the premises why didn't they step in and sort out the noise and why wasn't a message left for the staff in the morning - I'm sure room 4 & 5 weren't the only rooms to suffer from this disturbance. Breakfast was excellent as always but the attitude of the staff on being told about the disturbance I found bewildering.

Bar closed, restaurant closed, rooms old and dated, shower poor,, the only staff member was polite and helpful with food recommendations, it sufficed for one night stop but no more

Longs Inn was fine, room was quite old but character, beds were comfy, shower worked, I would describe it as clean and good but not spectacular. The place being effectively shut Mondays and Tuesdays due to staffing probably didn’t help the overall atmosphere which was a little flat. Fine for a short stay

Room was cold and no hot water on arrival. 3.30pm. Obviously struggling with staffing issues which resulted in disappointing stay.

This is a nice traditional pub/coaching inn. My room was clean and comfortable, with some character added by the antique furniture. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was no dinner service when I stayed, but the staff were able to direct me to a neighbouring pub that was serving food. Breakfast was substantial and reasonably priced too.

Nice clean hotel in the great village of Woburn. Easy friendly check-in and free car parking on site. Booked the ensuite family room which was great as it provided one double bed and two single beds. Only downside would be that at times there was noise from outside traffic and the beds them selves were noisy when moving about to get comfortable. Would look into booking again.

The Longs Inn had a lovely quaint atmosphere, the staff were efficient and friendly, the room was amazing and very comfortable, will highly recommend it. The only thing that let it down was that the bathroon was cold, although we turned the heated towel rail up and the water took a long time to heat up.

The staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel has old fashioned charm and we would stay there again.
