Gaoyuanhong Inn was very easy to check into and they could took us to our room. You can stay in the hotel, but we decided to stay in one of the little log cabins outside. It was well presented and the little cabins resembled a Christmas market. The room was clean and tidy, there were electric blankets as it gets quite cold in Qinghai. It’s perfect for a stopover to visit Chaka Salt Lake. I would recommend!

I was upgraded to an outdoor room (in a chalet). Very cosy. No air conditioner, but with the window open it was most comfortable. There was even a black rabbit bouncing around the grounds. The view is far from the Chaka Salt Lake but it's nevertheless impressing. At night there were many stars and even a small meteor shower to the north. The shower, WiFi and so on was adequate.

We were staying here for 1 night on a trip through Qinghai. We booked the cabin room and it specified there was heating but there was not. On top of that, there were 2 big orange stains on the sheets. The staff was nice enough to switch rooms but the bathroom was infested with small bugs and there was still a small stain on the sheets again. At this point we were so tired from our travels we just settled.

We were really please with this hotel! We were travelling to Chaka with a driver who said he would find us a hotel that accepted foreigners, but the only one he knew of was 350rmb+ for a room for the 3 of us. This place was a lot less, very clean and a good location.
The check-in was also quick and convenient which is something of a rarity for foreign travellers these days

前台小夥辦理入住手續超級快，而且主動幫忙把行李拿至電梯口，得知我們頭一次到烏蘭來旅行，怕我們會有高反，給我們拿了幾瓶葡萄糖口服液同時也進行了一些高反症狀的普及，除此之外還很細心的對酒店附近景點的最佳遊覽時間和路線進行了詳細告知，房間內佈局合理，配置了一次性洗漱用品，令我們感到意外的是還配有一次性洗澡巾，這點不是所有酒店都會有的。
