Premier Inn Manchester Airport Heald Green

Nice view, bed is very comfortable, Good service and will book this upcoming, it bring me unforgettable memory.

We have stayed in several Premier Inns, but this one, of which we had been unaware until we looked for one in the area, fell well below all the other standards. we were quickly put off the place by discovering that there was a long staircase, with no lift available, and I am 80, my wife was 79 on Saturday the reason for the stay, so we found the stairs very taxing to say the least. That was failure number one, quickly followed by failure number two the long walk to our room which seemed about half a mile. On entering the room, looking around we noticed the dirty floor of the bathroom, failure number three, then there was a problem with the heating system as the control on the wall did not seem to work properly and so the room was not as warm as we would have liked, although we managed to put p with it, this was failure number four. We went down for tea/dinner and found the Premier Inn does not have its own catering, so is linked with The Beefeater, and there is a passageway directly through between the two premises. We sat down at a table and was 5 minutes before an attendant came for us to order drinks. A further ten minutes passed before the same attendant came and took our orders for the meals. We then had to endure a further 20 minutes. When we finished our meals I wanted to order a sweet, but this was even more difficult to attract the attention of the same attendant who appeared to have many tables to attend to, eventually she came and took the order for the sweet and to ensure we could leave immediately after I had consumed the sweet I asked for the bill. The sweet and the bill came much quicker than every previous request, so this is registered as the fifth negative. The only plus was that the breakfasts both on Saturday and Sunday mornings were ok, the cereals and drinks are self obtained, and the full English breakfasts were delivered in good time. Additionally, on Sunday morning we went to go through the passageway to The Beefeater, but found the passageway was closed off, so we had to walk all the way around the car park to the main entrance to The Beefeater, so that was the sixth and final negative, and after that as we had been disgusted with the whole experience that certainly was not what we were used to at Premier Inns, we will not be returning to the Premier Inn, Heald Green.

Very convenient, close to airport and late check in available

The hotel is very convenient for Manchester Airport and checkin was easy with a friendly receptionist. The room itself is tired and really needs some updating. The carpet did not look clean, the wall had some scuffs on it and the fan wasn’t working properly in the bathroom. On the subject of the bathroom, the shower gel dispenser wasn’t working properly and made taking a shower a real pain. For a hundred pounds a night, I think guests deserve better to be honest. I used to really enjoy a night in a Premier Inn but now most of their properties I visit I find myself thinking they have gone downhill and need a refurb.

Man on reception was very kind and helpful. We arrived at 3am as or flight was delayed, but had no problem checking in. The room was clean and presentable. We stayed on the ground floor and was woken up by screaming kids and car doors slamming, which would not normally be a problem but when you arrive at 3am it would have been nice to get a lay in. Not the hotels fault.

Room was clean, nice and quiet.................. no one answers the phone or returns emails on important issues. Its not hard to do. Basics are important......................................................... ..............

We stayed one night at either end of our holiday to Italy. First night was a great sleep, although we were in the extension in which the floorboards creak and you could hear the people walking upstairs. Staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. Taxi to airport at stupid o’clock in the morning was £15 and was on time. I only gave 4 stars as the plug socket in room 42 next to the bed failed to charge my phone. I’d stay again. On our return to the uk, we arrived after midnight, the staff member on reception was lovely and helpful, (a Turkish gentleman who’s been here 3 years so far) we were in room 39 this time and same issues with the noisy floorboards, but the air conditioning was really noisy this time (sounded like a kettle boiling) We went to have breakfast in the adjoining beefeater in the morning and when we asked the staff they said they would come and take our order. We waited another 20minutes! We actually watched the staff chatting in the corner for some time. When one eventually came over, we were getting up to leave. Just appalling service in the beefeater. But told the receptionist in The premier Inn and she went and got us a coffee and said she would report it to the manager. She was absolutely lovely. The premier inn staff were fantastic and are definitely a credit to the company. Beefeater staff have a way to go.

Booked it for family with a new baby, everything they needed was provided. They said the room was big the bed was really comfy and had a great sleep. They really enjoyed the cooked breakfast so we all went back for dinner. Our server was Megan and she couldn't do enough for us, very friendly and helpful. Decent choice on the menu, being a vegetarian it's hard to find a decent plant based burger, was not disappointed, very tasty. The others had the steak which they enjoyed and the portions were not small. Nice friendly place will definately book for food and overnight stay again. Thanks for a great stay.

Lisa & Cenk were amazing, I phoned to say I was going to be late and arrived after midnight, I spoke to Leesa who said that was no problem whatsoever and that she would leave Cenk a message accordingly. Upon arriving and speaking to Cenk, the room was ready and what a friendly gentleman he was. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this hotel and Will will be using it again soon.
