I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying here. The hotel is right next to the entrance of the monastery and most rooms have a nice view of the lively main street and the mountains behind. The rooms also have built-in heating so the room is not cold during the colder months. The bed is very comfortable. Staff doesn’t always speak English but they are very friendly. The hotel is a little bit outdated, but I think it is one of the best places to stay in Xiahe because of the location and it offers everything you need.

we had two rooms on the 3rd floor facing the street. moise was not an issue. the rooms were well decorated. Hot water supply was arratic made sometimes had to
wait for several minutes for it to be hot. no issues with the double rom 302 but there were smells from the toilet in the twin room 303.
overall the location and price made the hotel a good deal.

Perfectly situated in the heart of Xiahe. Great to wander the temple streets in the evening. Next to local restaurants and easy to get a taxi. Very helpful front desk with excellent English.

Accepts foreigners. Need 48 hour covid test to check in. I actually already reviewed this hotel. But I stayed a second time on my way back to Lanzhou from Zhagana because I liked it so much. Unfortunately this time the bathroom was pretty smelly. I went to a great restaurant serving Nepalese food because they have a Nepalese chef. Snow mountain restaurant. 5 minutes walk from the hotel. I recommend it.
