Location wise is good and there’s a free upgrade of the room. However most of the staff is quite robotic and not friendly, no human touch. Order the room service and one of the egg Benedict went missing. I’m puzzled thinking is it only one with egg Benedict and the other one is without and called the service desk to check. They were quick to action and deliver another one to me but to my surprise I found the egg Benedict inside the dining cart and I ask the staff that deliver to me if he’s aware of it and he admit. This is quite bad cos if u drop the food, u should be honest about it and inform me and not trying to get it thru like that

Excellent location with wonderful views of Gulangyu Island. Check-in was extremely slow - with a queue developing, despite it being past midnight - they also required a large deposit (double the room rate!) which we felt was excessive. Breakfast was so-so, quite a lot of choice but generally not particularly good quality - was bored of the selection by the third morning. Lots of parking which was very convenient. To be aware, there are no USB ports in the room and cannot borrow a charging block, so be sure to bring/buy your own. In-room dining menu had a wide selection and good quality. Rooms were clean and well-kept. We were brought a small gift for Christmas, which was very kind. Overall, the location and views make up for any minor ******* - would highly recommend for a city break in Xiamen.

During check out , I needed more explanation about my bill because I had stayed 6 nights with 3 different bookings but the young staff at check out counter was not able to explain clearly. A senior staff had to take over.
There was also a piece of the Lipton tag of the tea bag immersed with the tea egg as shown in photo

Perfect! If there must be one word to choose to describe my journey to Xiamen this time ,it's sure to be Perfect ,esp. with the strong help of the front desk supervisor, Xiao Chen, I have checked in and extended my stay at the hotel. I am very grateful for her meticulous assistance and guidance. The room 2211 is great with the grand view of the opposite island Gulangyu, fantastic! Thanks for everything,i shall come back soon!🌹🍎🌈🍊🍊
