I guess 5 star hotels aren’t what they used to be. Dirty nails, messy hair front liners. Check in process was unclear, the way he talks is like mumbling. And he did not bother to explain. I am a mandarin speaker and yet he still speaks unclearly. Major disappoin**ent.

Overall the hotel has great service and good hygiene. Was surprised to see they even has Xmas decorations.
The only minor thing is the mattress in the room is very soft which makes it diffficult for someone with some backbone problem.

Staff is very kind.
Place is huge and well equipped.
Definitely and still one of the best hotel in Xiamen
