Hotel la Falaise Yaounde

Very good receptionists who know their jobs and nice relaxation sites The rooms are not the very best but I can say they are up to standard talk les of the food services they offer there I always thought Douala was the best till I finally visited

Great location, very close (walking distance) from city centre and several attractions. Professional and friendly front desk staff as well as the catering staff in the restaurant. Clean, comfortable room. Good speed WiFi in all parts of the hotel. Unfortunately during my visit, renovation works was ongoing a d the gym and some other facilities were not assessable.

This hotel is not worth the price at all. I can't believe the ratings. I love the one in douala but the one in yaounde is really bad. Leaking sink, low flowing water in bath, horrible mosquitos, old furniture, run down amenities and the lobby is danky, etc. It is in a really loud neighborhood. The food in the restaurant is good and the staff is pretty okay.

This was a great introduction to Yaoundé with a straightforward reception into a place with character and in which everything worked and friendly staff. Meal prices were not exorbitant for a 4 star hotel, and the rooms and shower well equipped. All was clean and comfortable. The first room overlooked the street and was noisy and after opening the window, it was difficult to close, but I got a much quieter room on the opposite side of the corridor. Carpets dampen the noise of guests returning to their rooms and I got a good night's sleep. You'll pay over U$150/night and breakfast is extra. There is a good menu and the lamb was delicious!

J'ai résidé en octobre 2024, dès le premier jour où la femme de ménage est passée, 500 euros de mon portefeuille ont disparus. Malgré un visionnage des caméras qui attestent l'entrée de deux visiteurs en mon absence (la femme de ménage et un technicien), aucune démarche n'a été réalisée par la DIrection de l'hôtel : je n'ai été ni reçue, ni entendue et n'ai reçu ne serait-ce que la moindre excuse de leur part. Ils s'en fichent, tant qu'il facturent ; le/ la voleur-se continue de couler de beaux jours au sein de l'hôtel. Par ailleurs, hôtel à environnement bruyant la nuit, entouré de boites de nuits.
