Felinger Collection Hotel & Spa

We stayed here for several nights and found it to be a terrific hotel. It's the staff that really make the place - the super friendly and helpful doormen/porters and reception staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean, with nice linen, great air con and an all-important fridge and kettle. It's about a 20 - 25 minute walk to the centre, but within a 10-minute walk there are plenty of good restaurants, a large supermarket and a metro station which goes directly to Republic Square and it's only 100 AMD for each trip. Breakfast was good, with a range of hot options, breads, preserves, and an excellent choice of fruit. Great coffee too. For some reason, throughout the hotel, the carpets are looking very stained and worn so goodness knows what has happened to them, as the hotel has only been open for a few months. If these were replaced, we'd be hard-pressed to find any faults. The restaurant is open at night and we had good food, but felt it had no ambience, so we only ate there once. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

The room had an electric kettle, mini-bar, small safe, and a comfortable bed. WiFi was reliable. The shower floor sloped to the shower door, so water ran out on the floor. It was about a ten-minute walk to a selection of restaurants. There was a large breakfast buffet that started at 8 am. Some days, the steamers were open when we got there, and the “hot” food was room temperature. There was a nice view of the city and distant mountains from the top floor restaurant where breakfast was served. Many spa amenities were available that we did not have time to use.

Hospitality begins with the entrance to this beautiful hotel. The staff smiles sincerely. The hotel is brand-new, and accordingly, the furniture, equipment, carpets are all brand new. A good bed, soft pillows allowed me to rest well (pillows for me are the main thing for a good night's sleep). New snow-white towels and bed linen, bathrobes with the hotel logo. The room has a safe and a stocked (!) minibar. The service in the restaurant, the quality of the dishes, the serving and presentation are beyond praise! The breakfasts are amazing, including oriental coffee brewed in cezves. The restaurant is located on the ninth floor, offering panoramic views of the city. There is an ATM at the entrance to the hotel.
