We booked the Melia Purosani directly through their website for a number of stays as it provided a good value price which included a 10-minute massage per room booking, a discount on food, and a room upgrade. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a ”Level” room on the sixth floor which came with Level Lounge privileges including afternoon tea. Having re-booked for three separate nights our expectations were that we would receive the same benefits. It seems our first stay involved a better-than-usual upgrade and we were very embarrassed to be turned away from the Level Lounge on our next stay - despite being in a Level Lounge room. Live and learn! The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are well-presented. Reception staff is courteous and helpful, and so too was the concierge at the Level Lounge who ”righted” the embarrassing situation we faced. The gardens and pool area are tropical, leafy, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was adequate, but not super fast/ The property is within easy walking distance of Jalan Malioboro and other local attractions. I have rated the hotel's less-than-excellent restaurant El Patio separately. Truth be told, service and afternoon tea in the Level Lounge was superior to the restaurant.

I stayed here 3 days with my girlfriend and it was fantastic. Location was top, staff was so friendly and helpful we couldn't have better imagined. ATM, supermarket and washing at stoneworld distance. They also offer a lot of fine tours to Borobudur and the other surrounding temples. We have had a lot of fun here. I can recommend ostic house to everyone!!

During my trip I've always looked for a hotel that is affordable and car friendly and easy access. This hotel is near by many attractions but not within a walking distance, could but taking a little longer and I am on time limit. Becak distance yes. Located on a small street but they have parking space. The hotel very heritage looking. They have small pool compared to the many rooms they have. I did not see any elevator. They have a big open space in the middle of the hotel and the room is small but enough for just sleep and transits. Breakfast was standard. Not many options but enough for a quick breakfast. The restaurant design is very javanese i love it!

The owner's father and mother are very friendly, every morning we are served with sweet tea by mom. Adding a bed in the room only pay 30k per night. The location of the homestay from the city center of jogja 25-30 is related. Recommended 👍👍

I stayed here 3 days with my girlfriend and it was fantastic. Location was top, staff was so friendly and helpful we couldn't have better imagined. The room was clean and comfortable just the location is very far from the city center. The time I went there was very quiet maybe the only one staying was me but it wasn't a problem.
