It's an upscale hotel. The staff are very welcoming and nice of them to upgrade us to Deluxe Premiere Double room. Bed is very comfortable and air conditioning is good (esp. for the hot weather). Cleanliness can be improved (eg toilet). Our room is right in front of the lift but we were not being disturbed by noises. Breakfast spread is good! Quite a few eateries around the hotel. Otherwise, taking Grab taxi to places is convenient and reasonable fares.

The receptionist did not explain regarding check in procedure and took my passport and share with Archipelago International and thick the boxes on my behalf. We have brought the matter up to the management. During breakfast the staff took our photos without our permission while we were eating. Kindly look into this matter. Do not take for granted on the privacy of guests.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was a pleasant experience. It was incredibly convenient to have everything within walking distance. Accommodating Room Requests: I was pleased with how well the hotel fulfilled my room preferences. The staff was attentive and made sure that my requested room type was available, ensuring a comfortable stay. Friendly Staff: The hotel staff members were incredibly warm and friendly. They greeted me with a smile and were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Their helpful and welcoming attitude truly added to the positive experience. Areas for Improvement: Breakfast Variety: While the breakfast served was decent, I felt that there could have been more variety in the menu. It would be great if the hotel could offer a wider selection of options to cater to different tastes and preferences. In conclusion, this hotel offers a great location in the center of the city, making it convenient to explore the surroundings. Jogja is one of my favorite destination. You can meet warm and nice people, great culture and seems like the time really slowing down. The Atrium Hotel & Resort When you enter the gate, you already feel comfort and homy. All workers there will give you sincere smile and ready to help you. The room also look warm, comfort and clean. It provide basic need for that kind of room. (thank you for room decoration set up) This hotel also provide nice swimming pool and fitness center, great taste iftar and sahur. Either you only stay at hotel all day or you go around Jogja, or you on holiday or in business travel, this hotel will welcome you and comfort you. Thank you for Mr,Andy and team.

The location of the hotel is in the crowd and very close to the city center like Malioboro and Jogja Zero Kilometer. Many culinary options are also around the hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy, except for the refrigerator which smells bad when opened. but it’s not a problem.just hope to improve in the future.(we just checked in and haven’t put anything in the refrigerator).the whole staff i met almost all were friendly. Almost, if only when checking out the receptionist didn't leave me for a few seconds and there was no smile at all. It really seems something is doing. But can you at least smile and ask me to wait? Not just a glance and then busy back with the paper. The intelligence in front of where I waited for a food delivery order was friendly not to play. Great appreciation for a great woman at the motorpark who promptly helped me and my friend took out our rental motor which was blocked by other motors. I know for girls it wasn’t easy. But he was very agile though it seemed difficult. Overall, my holiday in Jogja felt warm in Forriz. Will stay again in Forriz? Definitely! Thank you. :)

So the hotel lobby is very nice and inviting, and the rooms are modern and extremely clean. We opted for the upgraded room which I felt for the few dollars spent, was well worth it. The breakfast is amazing, with literally hundreds of choices and a fruit stand with mangosteen and other exotic fruits. ” Full on” Western, Asian and Indonesian breakfast choices. Bed and linens were comfortable. English is not well spoken or understood by most of the staff, although we eventually found someone that could communicate with us. The only complaint I had was that, in preparation for New Year's Eve festivities, they allowed a contractor to assemble from scratch--along with the accompanied drilling/banging/sawing--a group of wooden caricatures. We sat down to have dinner in the hotel restaurant but couldn't because of the loud noises the contractor was making far across the opposite end of the lobby. When we brought this disturbance to the attendant, who apologized but said nothing to the contractor. So we ended up NOT eating in the hotel restaurant and leaving. The contractor had his electric saws on the lobby furniture, and was using other lobby chairs at a sawhorse. Comical, yet simply baffling.

I stayed June 3rd 2023, this hotel near Tugu Train Station. Only 10 minutes walk from exit gate. The employees have great hospitality. Thank you Salma has fulfill my request for room 705. The room was clean, suggest need intense in sofa cause i found stain. The breakfast so so, need improve for bihun goreng, too salty for me. I ordered room service 3 menu, but the rice for the tengkleng was not soft (bit hard), maybe Chef need check regularly before serving to the guest. And please maybe you can skip regulation for calling the guest in the room 1 hour before check-out. That's annoying for guest like me who frequently stayed many hotel around Indonesia & other countries. But If should, maybe you can call at maximum check out time (12.00 noon)

Enjoyed stay here throughly. Very pleasant service staff and facilities are all new. Room was really comfortable and everything worked really well. Sofa can be a little old and stained but not a problem cos we don’t sit on it as much. Can’t stay much of the location as we just took a cab everywhere but lots of gojek food options around. Will highly recommend anyone to stay here

Good location within 2 minutes walk to Malioboro Street, which is extremely popular with the locals. We stayed at this Novotel because of rave reviews mostly in Google and other sites that Malioboro street is “the place” in Jogja. But don’t expect much if you are an international /western tourist. I will write a separate review on Malioboro Street next. This review is about Novotel. It is a nice hotel. An ideal location to get started in Jogja if you’ve never been here before. We arrived late on our first night, which means we had only 1 full day in this area, which we found is more than enough in this area. I will explain why in my Malioboro Street review. We like everything about this hotel. The staff, the service, the room, the rooftop bar and swimming pool located on level 10. The best is the price. Great value for money for the 2 nights inclusive buffet breakfast, which was 2,555,501 rupiah booked through Accor. But don’t expect much from the buffet breakfast. It was limited in choice. Mostly cater for Indonesian. Good enough for a short stay.
