We booked the Melia Purosani directly through their website for a number of stays as it provided a good value price which included a 10-minute massage per room booking, a discount on food, and a room upgrade. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a ”Level” room on the sixth floor which came with Level Lounge privileges including afternoon tea. Having re-booked for three separate nights our expectations were that we would receive the same benefits. It seems our first stay involved a better-than-usual upgrade and we were very embarrassed to be turned away from the Level Lounge on our next stay - despite being in a Level Lounge room. Live and learn! The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are well-presented. Reception staff is courteous and helpful, and so too was the concierge at the Level Lounge who ”righted” the embarrassing situation we faced. The gardens and pool area are tropical, leafy, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was adequate, but not super fast/ The property is within easy walking distance of Jalan Malioboro and other local attractions. I have rated the hotel's less-than-excellent restaurant El Patio separately. Truth be told, service and afternoon tea in the Level Lounge was superior to the restaurant.

We stayed on 14 - 16 february and booked our room with Agoda and the room was a good size, the hotel is beautiful and has all the amenities, so we applaud their environment. The front desk staff were very nice. Especially Heru, who arranged our trips and acted our tour driver . He took us trip to Borobudur , mount Merapi and Prambanan because on as we were not familiar with Yogyakarta. he also helped us to contact and book hotel at bromo , very patient and enthusiastic, emphasized all the details. It was a great pleasure to meet Heru.

This is a fancy place in a historical building in walking distance from the historical city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cuisine is excellent and the breakfast buffet wowed us. Food is served i.a. on an inner court, which is peaceful and quiet, away from the street noise. The pool, lays protected, and doesn’t have direct sunlight as of noon, which comes handy since these are the tropics.

I have stayed in many hotels in many countries, I can say, in my opinion it is not an exaggeration if I say that Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta staff is the friendliest among other hotels I have visited. You should try to stay in this hotel, you will understand what I mean. Unfortunately, the breakfast at this hotel is below what I expected, western food has not many choices and the taste is mediocre, there are many kinds of Indonesian food, I think this hotel is trying to highlight Indonesian flavors, but I feel that only a handful of Indonesian dishes are delicious in my opinion, namely Bakmie Bangka, Batagor and Gorengan (mendoan and bakwan vegetables), the soto was a disappointment. However, I still feel satisfied staying at this hotel, because it has friendly staff and comfortable beds

Good option to explore Malioboro area ,to avoid traffic jam and spend more time if you want to go to Malioboro street. Room is huge (booking deluxe room) , clean , & room facilities also good.Food during breakfast delicious & have many option. Good service from this hotel crew (reception, waitress & technician) , they are very attentive. I have a problem with hot water, and they are following up immediately. Minor thing from my side : because Im smoker , they dont provide smoking room for deluxe room type.This hotel only provide smoking room for superior room type. Maybe in the future this hotel can provide smooking for all room type . Overall staying in this hotel is highly recommended. Thank You

Enjoyed stay here throughly. Very pleasant service staff and facilities are all new. Room was really comfortable and everything worked really well. Sofa can be a little old and stained but not a problem cos we don’t sit on it as much. Can’t stay much of the location as we just took a cab everywhere but lots of gojek food options around. Will highly recommend anyone to stay here

I think the first things that make this hotel recomended is the location, this hotel near from malioboro and the center city in Yogyakarta you can only walk to reach the malioboro. about the facility its good there are a swimming pool outdoor and clean. From amazing breakfast (the bread they are using is extremely good quality) to clean, modern yet rustic interior that are pleasant to my eyes. I travel as a family with 2 kids + 1 elderly and the space in the room is quite huge to contain all of us. Certainly looking forward for my next trip in Jogja and hopefully can revisit this property. PS : They had an amazing compact library with curated books to satisfy your curiosity on Javanese / Indonesian culture in general you can borrow for free. Don’t miss it.

This hotel is suitable for me as a solo traveler, although the rooms are small but I like it for transit because my train at the midnight, close to Lempuyangan Station about 5 minutes by car, but not so close to Malioboro if you walk. The private bedroom with ensuite bathroom (has amenity too), a Smart TV (this is very important) and comfy bed is very good and comfortable to me compared to ”real cabin/capsul hotel”, the minus is it doesn't have a window (to outside). The price is reasonable and better if you go show to the hotel than OTA. Thank you Mr. Dedi to your hospitality !

The location is great, about 8 minutes walk to the imperial palace, water palace, and about 10 minutes to the busiest street. The room was very clean and comfortable. The owner was a French beauty. She was very nice and liked chatting with her. The clerks are very enthusiastic You can choose from three types of breakfast. I'm ashamed of being cheap ... The only regret is that there is no hot water for bathing, but the weather is very hot and you can try a cold bath

So happy to back to this lovely city. Zest Hotel is always being my top priority when visit this special city. The location is very strategic, nearby city, Malioboro, Lempuyangan station etc. Zest Hotel will be your perfect accommodation choice during stay in this city. I was greet by Chacha, Rindi, and Aditya that assist during check in time. They were awesome, understand and know how to make the customer feels like home. Putra also give very quick service when i asking to deliver something to my room. The restaurant was good as always, Eka greet me with warm smile. Well, this is not my first stay at this hotel. And definitely so happy to stay again. The room was good, clean, and tidy. The Room Attendant have great hospitality. On this occasion was so special, since i went with my wife. The service was beyond my imagination, since they give us a memorable surprise in the room. Well we are not asking any special arrangement during reservation, but they did it. So touchfull ;-) Thank you Zest for always being my second home in Jogja and make our vacation more and more than happy ^_^

A conveniently located hotel. Very pleasant staff ready to help. The building is old and requires repair. There was no shower in my room. The air conditioner is working but requires cleaning. When enabled, you immediately feel the smell of dust and spray. In the room, from the corridor, ants come in.
