Ibis Budget Thionville Yutz

Standard Ibis Budget stay. Location was not the best for my interests. Room and service was standard. There was a light that stayed on the whole night. Couldn't turn it off. No elevator.

We booked this as a one night stopover returning from a European holiday. The hotel was not clean on arrival, and the corridors and reception area were full of rubbish and cages containing dirty sheets, pillows etc. Check in was quick but getting into the room with the PIN code was a nightmare and took a good five minutes. The room was basic, not overly clean and did not resemble the marketing photos. The sink is in the room, as is the shower, and only the toilet is in a separate room behind a door. The sink had lots of cigarette burns round it and the shower head is fixed; my wife is 5’ 4” and the water shot over her head onto the opposite wall. The fixed head also meant the floor outside was soaking wet when stepping out. The weather was hot and as there was no air conditioning, we had to have the window wide open (if you have children, it’s worth bearing in mind there are no safety catches on them) which from a security perspective was concerning. More cigarette burns were on the windowsill, and we noticed the tarpaulin covering part of a damaged roof. On the plus side, the location is quiet and we were not disturbed. For some reason, few places appeared to be open locally, and we ate at McDonald's for dinner. As the breakfast in the hotel the next morning looked shockingly poor (again, nothing like the photos) we looked for somewhere else for breakfast - even the McDonald’s didn’t open until 11am, so we just hit the road. In summary, this is quite possibly the worst hotel we’ve stayed in and we definitely won’t return.

Hotel clearly at the bottom of the pile. Run down exterior with part of the building covered with tarpaulin. Inside not much better. No lifts. Stairs had cages of stuff in them. Needs a major face lift. Air conditioner hardly worth bothering with and room stifling hot when only 22’C outside. Dread to think what it will be like when hotter. L'hôtel ne ressemble en rien aux photos du site ! Chambres très vetustes et mal nettoyées. On retrouve des poils et cheveux sur la literie et même des mouchoirs sous le matelas. Et on parle pas de la poussière non faite. A 8h la femme de ménage frappe à la porte, ne sachant sûrement pas quelles chambres sont occupées. Grande déception, et ce n'est pas parce que l'on s'appelle ibis budget que l'on doit négliger l'essentiel. On ne réitèrera pas l'expérience, c'est sûr !!

Très bien situé pour se rendre au Luxembourg (15 mn max) et a 4 minutes du centre de Thionville . Prix très très correct . Proximité de grand axe je recommande !!

Presence de punaises de lit, vue t la nuit et avons été piqué, obligé de tous laisser dehors en rentrant en attente de tout désinfecter, en espérant ne pas en avoir ramené. Sinon hotel correct pour le prix payé.

accueil parfait, petite chambre, lavabo dans la chambre pas intime, très bonne douche, toilette très étroit et pas de clenche intérieur dans le WC . oreiller plat très bonne literie, télé sympas, chambre très propre, pas bonne isolation sonore. accueil petit déjeuner sympas.

Hôtel très propre et très calme j'ai passé un excellent séjour à part la télé ou il n'y a qu'une chaîne sur 2 qui fonctionne. Je regrette qu'il n'y ait pas un micro ondes dans la chambre.

Séjour tranquille pour une nuit dans un hotel pour le travail,chambre correcte et fonctionnelle.
