For a start, I’d like to say that there are many old established catering businesses in Kuwait, I tried many of them, to say that Grand Hayat surpassed them all is an understatement. I hired Grand Hayat to cater for a family dinner party and I believe it was one of the best choices we made that evening. I can’t recall encountering such an efficient service team in a very long time, keeping in mind that none of the team was Arab they had an amazing way of dealing with older ladies and tending to every single need, they were a hit with the grandmother’s especially Eden, an absolute gem! They are quick on their feet, I kept seeing the cheffing dish refilled without noticing anyone doing that, the 2 lovely chefs on site were very sweet, tending and paid great attention to everything, the service team was so good I honestly don’t know where to start. They managed everything a hostess needs to address without having me to say a word, I absolutely loved that Eden and her colleagues knew their way around the event, escorting guests to dinner and guiding them through the buffet and helping them to their seats. How they are very quiet and graceful when they pass around the drinks. How the lovely supervisor was sending out service coffee tables to guests without me addressing that. I enjoyed the day because the catering team was so professional, I felt like a guest and not the hostess ❤️ I would like to note that the food was out of this world! The pumpkin ravioli was the star of the show. The decorative towers, the apple crumble and so much more, it was unbelievable, kudos to the chefs! The valet service as well was top notch! Grand Hayat, you have a wonderful team. Thank you for being the most wonderful part of our night 🤍

The hotel is stunning, very nice interior design. The staff are super friendly, the food buffets at Stambul are amazing. There is a beautiful little spa with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Thank you to Martha from the spa for taking such good care of me!

An excellent and clean hotel with friendly staff. The stambul restaurant is great with a variety of food to choose from. I will love to have the opportunity to visit with my family for a vacation so that they will also have a great treat. Please keep up the great hospitality and standards.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received during my recent stay at your hotel. Given the prestigious reputation of the Grand Hyatt brand, I expected a high level of professionalism and hospitality, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable. 1. Unprofessional and Arrogant Staff One of the most shocking aspects of my stay was the attitude of your staff. Instead of being welcoming and courteous, they displayed an unprofessional and condescending demeanor, making it clear that guest satisfaction was not a priority. Their arrogance and lack of basic customer service skills created an unwelcoming atmosphere that no guest should have to endure. 2. Incompetence and Delayed Responses Even the simplest requests took an unreasonable amount of time to be fulfilled, and when I followed up, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of urgency. It is clear that your team is either poorly trained or simply does not care about delivering a five-star experience. 3. Service Quality That Does Not Reflect a Five-Star Hotel When guests pay premium prices for a luxury hotel, they expect an experience that aligns with those standards. However, what I encountered was disorganization, inefficiency, and a complete disregard for basic hospitality principles. The service I received would barely be acceptable in a budget motel, let alone a Grand Hyatt property. 4. Damaging the Hotel’s Reputation If this level of service continues, it will undoubtedly tarnish the hotel’s reputation and discourage future guests from booking. In today’s digital age, where online reviews heavily influence travelers’ decisions, neglecting customer satisfaction is a serious mistake that will have lasting consequences. Given the severity of these issues, I demand immediate action to improve service quality and retrain staff on how to properly interact with guests. If no improvements are made, I will ensure that my experience is shared across multiple review platforms, warning other travelers about the substandard service at your establishment.
