If you suffer with walking disabilities, or are looking for 24/7-night life, cheap booze and fast food in a hotel that is regulate to the standards now expected by the British traveller then DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. It took my partner and I back to the good old days of Greece where you never expected anything except local hospitality, comfort, and the friendliness of the staff. This hotel has one massive plus point and that its location. A view to die for, a sandy shallow beach and peace and quiet. A small family run hotel that is most probably experiencing its first full year of bookings following covid. Therefore, some bits look tired and in need of TLC. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are quirky but practical, no cupboards gathering dust, the bed is comfortable, the AC works but hot water is not on tap 24/7 due to it being solar powered. We shared our balcony with the bats, lizards and birds and breakfast with the wasps (it is the egg + bacon that attracts them). Taxis can be arranged to Sostis, airport or beyond. Sostis is a 30-minute walk or 10 minutes by car. Cameo Island 15 minutes by taxi. My only negative comment would be that the price of food and drink in the restaurant, seems a bit expensive compared to other restaurants. Would certainly recommend to our friends and families and looking to return.
