Bed was comfortable and great. Hostel was just next to the East entrance to the park, which is very convenient for reaching early to avoid tour groups. Owner is very helpful and friendly. He can help get tickets with a discount and provide instructions to the complicated park. Close to many food options as well, which give a small discount when you show your room card. Highly recommended if you're a smart traveller who wants to maximise your time in the park efficiently.

My friend and I stayed here when we were visiting the Zhangjiajie National Park. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the park's Eastern enterance which is super convienient. From the Eastern Entrance, you can catch the free bus to access Tianzi Shan, you can also take the Bailongshan Elevator that will take you to the most famous view points, including the First Bridge under Heaven and the Hallajuah Mountain. If you plan your routes well, it is possible to see all the different parts of the park by entering from the Eastern Enterance. The hotel itself is clean and has a friendly atmosphere -- we both felt very safe and welcome. There is a breakfast place just 20m down the street and plenty of options of places to eat during the evening, so you don't need to worry about being able to find food. There is also a small night market in the evenings where you can buy fruit and street food. The hotel can store your luggage for you so you don't need to worry about carrying it when you go hiking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about using the Zhangjiajie Eastern enterance.

+ Nice friendly service. Good location, very close to the park. We were alone in the hostel. - there was extremely cold in the room. Yes, we have air conditioning and electric blanket but it was not enough in the end of February (about 5-10 degrees above zero). Also there was a stink in the bathroom, it was difficult to stay there. Also the dryer didn’t work so our wet clothes stayed wet.

My plans changed long ago before the booking would come into force, Trip.com tried it's best and they just used that I am foreigner and didn't refund anything , while I wanted just to change dates now would stay in other hotel there , as whose guys are not trustworthy

Fantastic hostel. Very helpful people working there. Beds are big in the shared room, and there is an individual curtain in each bed. Perfect location

I chose this hostel as the cheapest one for that moment. So I didn’t have much expectations. But in fact the hostel is very good. The location is perfect, 3-4 minutes from the park entrance. Everything looks new , everything is clean . The hostel provides shampoo and soap. And there is toilet paper in the toilets. Also you can use laundry for reasonable price. The guys from reception speak English and are always very helpful.

Great location & super friendly and funny hosteler! He has lot of recommendations and makes great cappuccino! Common room is spacious and is a great place to meet other people :)

Was not that convinced... The shared bathrooms are not very clean and you have these holes in the ground as toilets. The rooms were fine and the lockers were good. The receptionist was not that friendly and did not help me with the park ticket. Would chose a private room next time. Its only 1-2 euros more per night
