Decent ok hotel, proximity to tai Chung railway station less than 8 mins walk if you go by the correct route and not follow blindly on the google map, breakfast can be missed as really need improvement but good to have as not many eateries nearby, good thing is there is a gang cheng station outside and opposite the hotel which can bring you to two famous night markets - Feng chia and Yi Zhong (better), take bus 25, 33, 35, but expect long distance ride, hotel room wall is too thin so be prepared to be disturbed at all times especially at night, WiFi can be weak at times, one last complain is the no throwing of toilet paper into the toilet bowl as too inconvenient for ladies but at this price of a well renovated hotel room, this is still acceptable

Good: Location: Super close to the metro station exit. There are many local restaurants and shops nearby during the day, while at night, the district can be quiet with the nearest convenience store about 10mins walk away. Amenities: Good lounge area to chill out, with water dispenser and beverages. The breakfast is basic but good if you're on a budget. Bad: The locker in the shared dorm can only fit cabin-sized luggage. The sides of the bunk bed are quite dusty. The iron available at the lounge is broken. Overall, it's still a fuss-free place for a short stay.

Can’t believe that this is such a good and big TRIPLE ROOM🥳 Thank you so much for accommodating us for an early check in since we arrived at 7am(with a fee). Hotel is just 12mins walk to Ximending and atleast 5mins walk to the MRT station. Park near the hotel too where we spot the cherry blossoms. Until next time! Thank you so much!!

Ten hotel jest naprawdę cenny za pieniądze. Wszyscy pracownicy byli bardzo przyjazni i pomagali. Pokój jest czysty i doskonały do oczekiwań. Jest nawet salon, który oferuje przekąski, napoje i gry. Śniadanie było również przyzwoitą jakość i miało dobrą różnorodność. Położenie jest niesamowite dla tych, którzy odwiedzają wyspy qijin i doku. Łazienki i kilka sklepów wygodnych są w pobliżu, więc nie ma się czym martwić, jeśli coś zapomnisz.

the room is good, comfortable n the common area is clean n tidy, toilet is a bit small. However, an entertainment starts by 4.50am inwhich the fire alarm broke out ,nobody pay attention until smoke comes in. All guests on 7fl goes down, no 1 call the police until I told the store neighbor inwhich she call the fire dept. the 1st officer came 30 mins after this accident. So all guest goes back after 1 hrs n 8 fireman's n 2 ambulance still waiting for the owner. By 10.30am when I checkout, no one talks about it or ask us do we enjoy it. I think if the fire broke out bigger,no one will survive on the 7fl. I hope some improvement must made for the owner. I will be back in Oct, I will stay again.

Chance Hotel in Taichung is exactly what you’d expect for the price of a 3-star hotel, and there’s nothing to complain about at this price range. The hotel is clean and provides all the necessary amenities. The most important highlight is the location—it’s right next to Taichung Train Station. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which makes everything very convenient. Overall, a good value stay.

Budget hotel at Zhong Xiao Dunhua area. Easy access location, subway station just 3-5 min walk away, many eateries and convenient stores around just few steps away from the hotel. No breakfast service but there are snacks and soft drinks provided at reception area. Stayed for 5 nights, nothing fancy and served well for my trip in Taipei.

Nice view overlooking the lake. Room is spacious and clean. Large bathroom with bidet for the toilet. We chose vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious. 10 minutes walk to the ropeway. Hotel is located next to the street food market and just a stone throw away from the water activities and the boat pier. Recommended 👍🏼 One minor thing, there was a live band downstairs performing at night. You can enjoy their performances from the balcony but it gets too loud and you can still hear them even with the door closed. Hard to sleep with the loud noise as they didn’t stop until past 10pm or 11pm.

Everything was great. I loved the location, it’s very close to the train station and bus stops, with a FamilyMart nearby. There isn’t much to eat or see in the immediate area, but a 15-minute bus ride or a 15-minute walk can take you anywhere you need to go (west central district, or any night market!), so we were fine with that. The room was clean, and the service was great. Nothing to complain about.

Very good place to stay very near liuhe night market, mrt station, staff is friendly and nice, the room and bathroom and also the pool are clean but only the balcony is bad it’s scary to go outside because the floor is made of wood and some are broken already. My daughter she afraid had snake came out😂😂 also hallway and inside the elevator too dark.
