„Decent ok hotel, proximity to tai Chung railway station less than 8 mins walk if you go by the correct route and not follow blindly on the google map, breakfast can be missed as really need improvement but good to have as not many eateries nearby, good thing is there is a gang cheng station outside and opposite the hotel which can bring you to two famous night markets - Feng chia and Yi Zhong (better), take bus 25, 33, 35, but expect long distance ride, hotel room wall is too thin so be prepared to be disturbed at all times especially at night, WiFi can be weak at times, one last complain is the no throwing of toilet paper into the toilet bowl as too inconvenient for ladies but at this price of a well renovated hotel room, this is still acceptable”

Hotel is okay, only had 1 floor with all the rooms and lobby, the elevator just slow since if has mulitple hotels within the building. The toilet in our room is kind of see through, but if you don't mind this everything is ok.”

„Easy to check in and check out, well placed in Hualien (close to the train station, not so far from the beach and some yummy restaurants around) ... Those things are already nice. But the architecture of this hostel is also pretty neat! The rooms are rather beautiful imo and I was surprised to see the bathroom in the room, it made me happy (compared to public one in some other places, I prefer to have the bathroom in the room, only shared with the girls). I liked that. The sink out of the bathroom but still in the room is also very well placed so you can wash your face or hands even if someone is in the bathroom. Breakfast is rather simple but enough to start the day. Highly recommended ! 😊”

„The room is clean and spacious, facilities are great, and the staff are super friendly. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station though. Since it’s converted from an old commercial building, you have to climb about 10 steps through the mall to get up to the hotel, not the most convenient if you’ve got big luggage. Also, at night some of the mall doors get locked, so you might need to ask security how to get in, which is a bit of a hassle. Overall, it’s more suitable for business travelers than leisure ones.”

„Ten hotel jest naprawdę cenny za pieniądze. Wszyscy pracownicy byli bardzo przyjazni i pomagali. Pokój jest czysty i doskonały do oczekiwań. Jest nawet salon, który oferuje przekąski, napoje i gry. „I like how the hotel is located in between 2 stations, ie, Kaohsiung and Famosa Boulevard. Night market is also 1 street down, and hotel is accommodating to let us use the dining area to eat our purchases! Staff is also polite and helpful! Tea and coffee and ice cream runs free flow 24hrs. The hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Main Station. Check-in is strictly at 4 PM, and even if there are available rooms, an early check-in costs an extra NT$200. However, you can store your luggage for free, and there's a lounge area on the 6th floor where you can relax.

Room 717 was clean. The CCTV cameras on every corner of the hallway made me feel secure. However, the hallway floors were very echoey, so you could hear everyone walking by. My double room had absolutely no hooks or hangers, which definitely needs improvement. My room also didn't have any USB charging ports (though some single rooms with private toilets did). There were only two-pin flat sockets, so if you wanted to use a larger international adapter by the bed, you'd have to unplug the fridge or TV. There were sockets by the door and the sink, but they weren't convenient for my use. I stayed for 5 nights, and on the last night, the air conditioning unit outside my window was intermittently loud and frequent, making it impossible to sleep. This needs to be fixed. For a double room, they only provided one key. If you wanted another, you had to pay a NT$500 deposit, which was returned, but without a receipt. When I asked for one, they just scribbled a note and told me to take a picture. I hope they can be more professional about this.

The room smelled of heavy smoke. The same with the corridors. Had to use the room air cleaner all the time. Could not really open the windows and they were also very dirty. The bed was very big. The bathroom was big but very old and it looked a bit grimy. Carpet stained and the room old overall. The room dark generally. They were great when we requested cleaning the room. The location was also very good. Many many buses to the center of Taipei. Many restaurants and coffee shops around. Convenience shop 2 min away. Internet only alright. The area seemed very safe. Not sure why other people said it wasn’t. Overall it was ok, cheaper than most places at least

Had a pleasant stay at MeWorld Hotel Taipei Main Station. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Taipei Main Station, making it convenient for getting around the city and travelling to and from the airport. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with the essentials for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. However, the lift requires a relatively longer waiting time. Overall, the hotel offers great value for its location.

The hotel is ok but the room is big. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try. My daughter LOVEs every dishes she ordered. She said, this is the best food she had in Taiwan, so we had two dinners at the hotel. The location of the hotel is not great! We couldn’t get into the local buses to go to Xitou nor to Taichung because the buses were full from the original starting point. However, the hotel offers fare shuttle service to and from Xitou but not Shanlinxi. The front desk lady drove us to Xitou, she was GREAT and very accommodating, she took us to Xitou bus station outside of the normal schedule hours so we can catch the bus back to Taichung. We would come back again with our car to get to different areas in Xitou again.

Fantastic stay! The environment was spotless and tidy, and the common areas were cozy and welcoming. My bed was also very clean. The staff were warm, friendly, and always happy to help. The location is super convenient, with restaurants and public transport nearby. I met so many travelers from different places, and the atmosphere was relaxed and free-spirited. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The room was spacious and clean, and opening the curtains revealed an unbeatable sea view – perfect for enjoying the scenery. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with all sorts of information about Kaohsiung and anything else we wanted to know. So kind! A truly perfect experience.

This time I brought my wife to Taichung for her birthday, and we stayed at the Norway Forest Cultural Center for the first night. We arrived early to drop off our luggage and immediately experienced the friendly and polite service, which made me feel happy and warm. Although there was a minor issue with the air conditioning in our room when we checked in that evening, the front desk manager came up and helped us switch to a larger and more comfortable room. Their service attitude was also super nice. It's no wonder this hotel has reviews above 9 – it's absolutely deserved. If I have the chance to come again, it will definitely be my first choice! 🥰

This is our second time staying in Stat Beauty Hotel for their Luxury Double Room. This time we stay for 4 nights and the location of the hotel is near the MTR station and the night market of Shillin Night Market. It will about 15 - 20 minutes from the hotel walk to the MTR station or take 20 - 26 minutes from the hotel walk to Shillin Night Market. The room we booked is big enough for us it two persons that stay and the room is nice but the hotel always provide one pillow for one person . If I sleep on the bed with only one pillow then I can see the rooftop and not the TV. I suggest to the hotel to provide two pillows for each person to stay  without our request, so that he can watch the TV easily. The bathroom is big and come with a big bathtub. The water pressure is now t very strong but just good enough for shower.  I would like to make a bit complaint to the old lady for the the housekeeping. She only come to change towels, refill toiletries  and thru rubbish only and never do cleaning and arrange the bedding. So on my third day O have towels request to the front seat to tell her to clean our toilet. Overall we are happy to stay in Star Beauty Hotel and would like to recommend this hotel to other travellers. I will stay again if I come to Taipei in the future.

The location is fantastic, right behind Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. The elevators and front desk area look a bit dated, but the staff were decent. They put a large bed in the room, but because the room was small and the duvet wasn't warm enough, I got cold in the middle of the night and had to turn off the air conditioning. The kettle had dust and limescale marks. However, the bathroom was really clean, and the toilet was modern. I was genuinely surprised and impressed that the shower had two types of showerheads. It's a very good budget hotel. I'd definitely consider staying here again in the future.
