It was a nice experience, it was our first time in Baotou and Shangri La was good choice, nice service and staff and also delicios breakfast and best location

The hotel is in a tower above a Wanda mall. It has convenient transportation. Check in is in 2410, 24th floor block B which is easy to find once you know that. The room was bigger than expected, with some basic amenities and a sofa. Nice and quiet.

On the first day of our stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, when we went to the reception, most of the staff did not speak English. However, a lady named Zoe Zhou helped us wholeheartedly and was extremely kind and professional. Sugar was also very helpful, and we are truly grateful to her. We had a lot of luggage and it did not fit into our suitcase, so we asked a male staff member to bring us a box. He not only brought the box but also kindly provided tape as well. His thoughtfulness and willingness to help really impressed us. Overall, the staff’s sincere support and warm attitude made our first day at the hotel very comfortable and memorable. Thank you very much!

Reception is very helpful and extremely welcoming.. Mariott always lives up to its name. It's the only hotel that allows me to change money into smaller change. Room is comfortable and cosy. Worth every single cent. Location is great too. 2 malls are within walking distance.

The food was well-prepared and presented, making it a delightful start to the day. ●The hotel is located in a central area, making it easy to access restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. ●Overall, my stay at this hotel was exceptional. The comfort, service, and facilities made it a memorable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Останавливались в Xinge INN на одну ночь (с 2 по 3 апреля 2026 г.). Отель оставил очень приятное впечатление. Главный плюс — это расположение: самый центр Маньчжурии, всё рядом. Заселили нас моментально, без лишних задержек. В номере идеальная чистота, всё свежее и аккуратное. Для короткой поездки — вариант просто супер. Обязательно вернемся сюда снова!

To miejsce jest idealnie położone w Wulanhada wulkanu. Jest 2 minuty spacerem od centrum turystycznego północnego. Jeśli nie prowadzisz, możesz wziąć autobus do wycieczek. Projekt hotelu jest wyjątkowy i wygląda piękny w nocy. Personel z recepcji był bardzo przyjazny i pomocny! Są one w restauracji, która serwuje śniadanie i kolację. Jeśli masz szczęście, możesz zobaczyć fajerwerki podczas kolacji i owiec przed drzwiami rano ❤️

The hotel is great, beyond my imagination, the hotel newly opened in 2026, the hotel front desk has a convenience box! The rooms are equipped with smart toilet electric curtains. , The front desk lady is super enthusiastic, there is a question and answer type, will recommend the play guide, bought a discount Inner Mongolia Cultural Tourism cartoon. The hotel aunts are super sensitive and will remind you to wear more clothes and clean the rooms in time. , Highly recommend this hotel! ! !

This was my first time visiting Hohhot and chose the hotel because of convenience of movement, it’s close to the airport as well as the train station. The service was okay even though they couldn’t speak English. The room was nice and clean too but the smell of smoke in the corridors didn’t make it all so pleasant. I really enjoyed the breakfast though and the revolving restaurant was a nice touch. I wouldn’t mind coming back to have a stay when I’m in Hohhot.

My partner and I stayed here during our bicycle travels in China. The hotel was very generous holding a package for us for several months as we traveled from Xinjiang through Mongolia and back to China. They also held our bicycles for a week while we took a hiatus to Datong. The staff were friendly and Mark spoke excellent English and helped us a lot with arranging for taxis or other things that we needed. There are not any restaurants or really other businesses nearby - we needed to taxi into town for anything. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean on our initial stay. The pool was just a few lanes and the gym was pretty sparse, but both exist. The restaurant breakfast buffet was expansive but also expensive. It was better when the hotel was busy and the food turnover higher.
