„We recently stayed for two nights at the Country Garden Seaview Suite by Nest Home. While the unit was clean and neat, there were several issues that affected our comfort: - The water heater was not working, which made showering inconvenient. - The sofa and cushions were wet upon arrival. Although a cleaner came and attempted to dry them with a hairdryer for about 10 minutes, the sofa remained soggy and had an unpleasant smell. - The room’s location facing a busy traffic junction made it difficult to rest. Noise from ambulances, car horns, and traffic persisted throughout the night, resulting in poor sleep quality. On a positive note, the room itself was tidy and well-maintained, which we appreciated. However, the combination of maintenance issues and noise disturbance significantly impacted the overall experience. We hope these concerns can be addressed to improve future guest stays.”

„This place is really awesome.. i booked studio unit so clean and spacious..big bathroom..i expected a Seaview but only got cityview ..thats ok but what I got so confused is checking in process.. no prior message in trip.com on how to check in .. so many blocks there ..so confusing ..i message the property from trip.com its replied the is hotel reception 9 am to 9 pm ..but nothing there .. its self check in ..after I call the WhatsApp number then only they send the instructions which is also not so easy to find because there are so many buildings.. its so frustrating to find the parking lot too .. instructions again not so clear .. shd tell the color zone and number on the pillar would have been so easy to find the parking lot instead of just gv the lot number.. but I completely no complain about the unit .. could improve on check in procedure”

„Mixed Experience – Good Service Recovery but Initial Handling Could Be Better I recently stayed at Holiday Villa Johor Bahru City Centre and had a mixed experience. For the first two nights, we suspected the room was not properly cleaned as both my husband and I experienced continuous sneezing throughout the stay. I reported this to the front desk after the first night, but no action was taken or escalated. Unfortunately, we had to endure a second uncomfortable night before I raised the issue again to the duty manager. I must commend the duty manager for her prompt and decisive action — she arranged an immediate room change, which made a significant difference. This level of service recovery was appreciated. However, it is unclear why the initial concern was not escalated earlier by the front desk, which could have prevented unnecessary discomfort. On a positive note, when I fell sick during the stay, the front desk staff were thoughtful enough to send porridge and warm water to my room — a kind gesture that I truly appreciated. The hotel’s location is very convenient, and the breakfast selection varies daily, which is a plus. A special mention to the egg station staff — they were consistently friendly and attentive, handling every request with a smile even during busy periods. Check-out was smooth and efficient. Overall, while there were some lapses in initial handling, the service recovery and certain staff members’ efforts stood out.”

„Building is still new so do expect to have construction with drilling, hammering sounds as early as 8:30am onwards. Parking is all the way up to Level 8 unlike other providers whereby you can park at a lower level.”
