This was my second time staying here, and it was just as good as the first. The chalet was different from my previous stay, but the quality remained excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The experience was just as enjoyable, proving that this place is consistently reliable. Will definitely return again!

因為這家酒店選擇在箭鎮逗留了三天兩晚，事實這個選擇非常正確，為了它打算在箭鎮秋季到來的時候再來一次新西蘭。晴天的美毋庸置疑，陰雨天更有英倫氣息。四人入住雙卧套房，超大的客廳，白天有陽光晚上圍着壁爐在一起聊天，非常放鬆，還有前後兩個露台，可以看到雪山與遠處的海耶斯湖，幸運地看到了微弱的極光。廚房設施非常齊全，做飯很方便。每天會打掃，有地暖和電熱毛巾架，洗衣機烘乾機也都有。穿過酒店的高爾夫球場可以徒步到海耶斯湖，箭鎮步行半小時，也可以讓酒店隨時安排車輛接送，皇后鎮也有免費穿梭巴士，對非自駕人羣非常友好。

Smooth checkin with very warm welcome greet. Everything works great and the small washing machine was free! I love the fact that salt and pepper is provided in the kitchenette made my cooking more complete. Great Location only 10 minutes walk to the beach and town centre , great vibe! Leisure centre is 5 minutes drive away with great swimming pool and jacuzzi.

My recent stay at Oakridge Resort Lake Wanaka was overall a very positive experience, thanks to its fantastic amenities. After long days spent exploring the stunning surrounding landscapes, the hot pools were an absolute highlight. Soaking in the warm water under the stars was incredibly relaxing and a perfect way to unwind tired muscles. This was definitely a standout feature of the resort and something I greatly appreciated.
If I were to be particularly picky, the only minor annoyance during my stay was a faint but persistent hissing sound coming from the telephone line in my room. While it wasn't overly loud, it did become a little distracting when trying to get to sleep.
Despite this small issue, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Oakridge Resort.

We were thrilled to be the very first guests to leave a review for this stunning new resort! The location is fantastic, just a quick 10-minute drive to town, and our room offered breathtaking views of the Shot River, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
We arrived around 10 PM, and the hotel reception was impeccably prepared, warmly welcoming us and even upgrading our room! It looked exactly like the photos, with a design and interior that perfectly captured the vibe we were seeking. They had welcome drinks waiting for us, and we appreciated that milk was available on request at any time.
The breakfast was a delightful a la carte experience, featuring an array of delicious options. The serving staff was not only attentive and kind but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants!
We also indulged in room service, which exceeded our expectations in both taste and punctuality. Although the fitness room and movie room were still under construction, the small maintenance issue we encountered in the bathroom was addressed swiftly by the staff.
Our stay has left us eager to return and see the final results of this new gem. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!

Mercure Queenstown Resort has offered very good services with great hospitality. The room given has a great view overseeing a big lake right from the middle. Livin (A name for New Zealander, I suppose) offered great hospitality for us and even treated us a VIP favour by giving an in room slipper.. thank you.. if you are lucky you can even spot a double rainbow…
Superb.. love Queenstown and Mercure Resort..
Also Accor membership is usable here.. bravo..

Location: The hotel is located close to the Queenstown airport but approximately 15 mins away from Queenstown itself.
Parking: There is no parking bays at the Hilton (only valet) itself but it shares with Doubletree which is limited. Due to some maintenance work, level P2 was closed off and had to park in a reserved slot for the night. Cost of parking is NZ$ 16 per night.
Rooms: This is where my issue lies, the room temp is centrally managed and it was freezing at night especially with the floor to ceiling windows. Had to go to the front desk for portable heater and extra blankets on the 1st night. Bathroom is non-heated (with tiled floors) so extra cold in there. In most places we stayed in NZ, the bathrooms had heated lamps overhead for comfort. I requested the accessible room for mom and it was provided as requested although the location of the room was on one end of the building which is a distance to walk.
Food: Breakfast was a good selection and ran from 630 to 1030am.

GGuest UserDeluxe alpine view room is just a view of some trees, and a glimpse of mountain tops mostly obscured by the roofline of the next room’s balcony, and none of this can be seen from inside the room. The lift only goes to the third floor, and we had to carry all our luggage up the stairs to the fourth floor (staff did offer to assist). Spacious and clean, but very plain and basic, with all the standard equipment you find in any motel room - there is nothing “deluxe” about the room. Adjoining door to the next room had no locks - had to put a chair under the door handle. Presumably the neighbouring guests were equally anxious about this lack of privacy and security. No accessible power outlet next to the bed for charging devices. Had to pull the bedside table away from the wall and lie down on the floor to reach the power outlet behind. No heating in the bathroom, excepted for heated towel rails. Bed had a very soft topper on the mattress which was too soft and saggy, giving no support. One light switch to control the entire room, near the entrance door. No switch near the bed.
Overall, the room was very over-priced for such a basic, dated, and unexceptional experience.

EEdison MMercure Queenstown truly elevates the vacation experience! My friend and I stayed in a lake view room with two large beds, and the entire experience was fantastic – definitely five stars!
🌄 Stunning Views: The lake view room offers an absolutely divine panorama! You can take in the breathtaking beauty of Lake Wakatipu and the Southern Alps right from your bed. The lake and mountain scenery, both morning and evening, is so beautiful it leaves you speechless; waking up to it every day was incredibly rejuvenating.
🏊♀️ Excellent Facilities: The hotel features its own pool and lounge area. After a day of activities, a dip and some sunbathing really enhanced the holiday vibe. The room was spacious, the bedding soft and comfortable, and it was spotlessly clean. The facilities were complete and modern, perfectly meeting our travel needs.
💁♀️ Attentive Service: The front desk staff were warm and professional. Upon check-in, they proactively introduced the hotel facilities and provided local tips for sightseeing. Any requests were promptly handled, showing great attention to detail that made us feel very welcome.
📍 Convenient Location: The hotel’s location is superb. It’s easy to park if you're driving, and you can also walk to Queenstown center with ease, making dining, shopping, and visiting attractions incredibly convenient.
Our Queenstown trip with my friend was made even more perfect by this hotel. We will definitely choose it again next time we visit, and I highly recommend it to every traveler coming to Queenstown!

ZZhang（xinyan）We chose the Hilton again for our trip to Queenstown, New Zealand. While it's not right in the town center, transportation is super convenient. The hotel has its own water taxi that goes to and from the center daily. The first boat leaves at 8:15 AM, and then it's hourly after that. It costs 14 NZD per person and takes about 25 minutes. The last return trip is at 9:45 PM, and there's a timetable available at the front desk. The hotel is also only a ten-minute drive from the airport.
The hotel's setting and views are absolutely beautiful, right on the lake. You can take a lovely stroll along the lakeside in the mornings, and the restaurant is right there, so you can enjoy the lake view while you eat. The hotel has a Western restaurant, a bar and restaurant, and a coffee shop. The breakfast buffet is served in the Western restaurant and opens at 6 AM, which is great for guests who want to get an early start on their sightseeing. The food selection is comprehensive and tasty too! We had dinner at the Western restaurant on our first night and it was excellent, the steak was fantastic! The bar and restaurant is also good; on our last day, we got back late from our Milford Sound tour and just ordered pizza and beer at the bar. The pizza was absolutely delicious! The bar atmosphere was great too!
We booked a lake view king room, and the layout was nice, with full amenities. The hotel also has a pool, and the gym is open 24 hours. All in all, our stay and dining experience were very comfortable! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserVery good a hotel apartment, very warm design, perfect facilities, neat and clean, just like your own home. Enjoying the sun on the balcony and drinking a glass of beer is life. The weather in Wanaka is too good. The hotel service is very nice and responds to requests. Also the washing machine comes with disposable detergent, too courteous. The bed was also very comfortable, the shower water was large enough to shower and shampoo very comfortable. Hope to have the chance to stay again next time.

CChun2Among the three Rosewood hotels in New Zealand, Rosewood Matakauri is the most conveniently located in the popular Queenstown, about 7 kilometers from the center of Queenstown to Glenorchy. Matakauri is known as a mountain lakeside resort. Facing the lake, it is quiet and elegant. It is surrounded by the three famous peaks of Queenstown and has excellent privacy. The hotel has excellent hardware and software, all customer service is warm and friendly, and the rooms have been upgraded to lake view suites. Dinner is served in a la carte format, and the cooking is excellent. If the breakfast can be as good as the dinner, it will be even more perfect. The wonderful experience here makes me look forward to the next two Rosewood hotels. Special thanks to Ctrip butler Zi Peng for his professional assistance when there was a little problem with the booking of the like order.
