15 sty to 23 styEngineering work impacts routes between Brockenhurst and Lymington PierOkres:czwartek, 15 stycznia 2026 r. to piątek, 23 stycznia 2026 r.Operatorzy:South Western RailwayPowiązane informacje:Urgent repairs have taken place on the line between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier. Although work has taken place to allow the line to reopen, trains have to run at a reduced speed. As a result, a reduced service is currently in operation between these stations. Network Rail are completing some further emergency engineering work between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier on both Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 January. Over this weekend, trains will be unable to operate between these stations and will be replaced by rail replacement bus services. From Monday 19 January, the reduced service between these stations will resume and is expected to be in place until the day on Friday 23 February. Customer advice: Initial work has taken place to reopen the line. However, due to the complexity of the issues found, further work is needed to take place and the work is likely to take several weeks to be completed. As a result, trains will be subject to minimal delay while they run at a reduced speed along the line and the service will be reduced to an hourly service in order to minimise disruption. Network Rail need to complete emergency engineering work between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 January meaning that trains will not be able to run on these days. Rail replacement buses will run every 30 minutes on Saturday, and every 60 minutes on Sunday. Journey Planners will be updated 24 hours in advance.
