„I originally planned to transit through Guilin and thought I'd take the kids to see Elephant Trunk Hill. I booked this guesthouse because the location seemed convenient, and I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were very warm and patient. The guesthouse has its own access control system for its private areas, which made me feel much safer with the kids. The rooftop viewing platform offers a great view, and the value for money is excellent! My only regret is that it had just rained heavily, so the muddy water of the Li River wasn't very photogenic, which was a bit of a shame.”

Very standard amenities, small pool with no view, large gym, a sauna that took ages to heat up, needs upgrade/fixing. Great breakfast buffer with wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Overall a 4* experience, as expected, so no major +/- issues. If you want a 5* accomodation at not different price point other options are available in Nanning. I had very good experience with Ming-Du, not as central locationl as Marriott, but quieter, better views, and overall a more elevated environment.”

„Upgraded to a balcony room for one night, directly facing the beautiful Li River and Fubo Hill. The evening breeze was so pleasant. The double sinks, toilet, and shower room were all separate, which was very convenient. Later, we moved to a 180-degree river view room, where I could just relax on the tatami mat and gaze at the river – truly a stolen moment of leisure. The oversized bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak and stress relief. The mini-bar was free, and the complimentary fruit at night was delicious. The butler and front desk staff were all so kind, polite, and provided excellent service, always ready to help. They proactively asked daily if we needed anything, if the room temperature was comfortable, or if we wanted to choose different pillows. We slept wonderfully every night. The hotel breakfast offered a great variety, including two types of rice noodles (dry and soup). There were also two kinds of herbal teas daily, like luo han guo and goji berry. We had dinner à la carte, and the food was delicious, the ambiance beautiful, making it perfect for photos. The hotel package included a photoshoot with a good selection of outfits. The photographer was patient and meticulous, and selecting the photos was a smooth process. My mom absolutely loved the hotel's cultural handicraft experience; she made three phone charms and really enjoyed it. I also tried the hotel spa. „The location of the hotel is just by the River and easy to take nice pictures right from the hotel or in front of the hotel. Upon our arrival, the doorman immediately grabbed our bags and welcomed us. Although we told him that our bags are heavy and offered to take some of the luggage by ourselves, he insisted to help us and helped to carry everything inside. The reception staff did the check in quickly and also informed us of their hotel facilities and services. They told us that we have a complimentary professional photography session to have our photos taken. They also introduced the local tourist attractions and we took the river boat trip that evening, which was very pleasant and nice way to see Guilin during the evening. The following day we went for the photo taking sessions and we got some beautiful memorable pictures taken. Our room was very beautiful and large and we wish we would have had more time to stay. We even had a separate room for drinking tea which was so cozy. The breakfast restaurant is located on the top floor of the hotel so the guests can have a nice view of the surroundings. Upon our departure the reception staff asked how our stay had been and bid us farewell and they had prepared some very cute gifts for us. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody who would like to visit Guilin leisure. Perfect location, perfect service and facilities!”

Although the street opposite the hotel was in the state of government construction works, it was a very quiet and peaceful stay. 100% would come back to this hotel if I were to visit Guilin again.”

The hotel's environment is great, the service is excellent, and I'm very satisfied. The location is also fantastic, right in the golden spot at the city center intersection. It's definitely worth recommending. The hotel facilities are very comprehensive, and it's super convenient to get to scenic spots. Plus, the hotel can even help you book discounted tickets!

Guangxi is such a pleasant place. After attending a concert in Nanning, I thought I'd come to Yangshuo for a vacation. For me, a good hotel can meet many needs. From hardware to software, thoughtful service makes you feel more at ease. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt that thoughtfulness. I'm quite a stickler for details. The hotel's cleanliness, the maintenance of its public areas, and even the toiletries are all meticulously chosen. The refrigerator, kettle, and hairdryer are all carefully prepared and not just thrown in. Also, the bathrobe is incredibly comfortable! That's a rare find! I booked a room with a terrace, and sitting there in the afternoon or early morning, you can really feel the tranquility of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there was also an afternoon tea (the desserts were tasty too). Initially, when I came to Yangshuo, I only felt that the scenery was beautiful. But staying at this hotel, I truly realized that even in such a so-called 'paradise,' you can experience a different, perhaps even more luxurious, feeling. Honestly, if you want an excellent experience when you come to Yangshuo, you can choose this hotel. It's incredibly convenient whether you're going to eat at Ten-Mile Gallery or explore the old town. More importantly, the scenery viewed from within the hotel is absolutely twice as wonderful, without the crowds and noise (a true resort destination!). You really can fall in love with a city because of a hotel. Everything above is my genuine feeling. The hotel's attention to detail is truly heartfelt, especially the large public lawn in front of the hotel, which gives a very relaxing and pleasant feeling. Considering the guest's experience, thumbs up! (I'll attach some photos, all from my personal experience, for your reference.)

Five-star rating plus 9 photos for my favorite B&B and its lovely hostess! Our family trip to Guilin Yangshuo this time had its ups and downs with the weather. It didn't rain as forecasted, but it was incredibly hot during the day. We ended up spending a lot of time at the B&B, but we had an absolutely wonderful experience. First off, the guesthouse was spotless, and everyone's service was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We booked the New Chinese Suite, which had large floor-to-ceiling windows. In the afternoon, we were even treated to an afternoon tea. After resting, we rented electric scooters from the B&B and went cycling along the Ten-Mile Gallery, which was fantastic. The highlight was definitely after dinner, enjoying the hostess's bartending skills at the B&B's bar. She's beautiful, has a cheerful personality, and makes excellent cocktails. We kept enjoying drink after drink into the evening. Next time when it's cooler, I'll definitely be back to Yangshuo for rafting and to stay at this B&B again. See you then!

The room was quite spacious and had a balcony with a glimpse of the Li River, which was a pleasant surprise. The room facilities were well-planned and functional. The inn's decor was stylish, with a Chinese aesthetic that made every photo-op Instagram-worthy – perfect for ladies in traditional outfits. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and spoke excellent English, which explains the high number of foreign guests and the great atmosphere. Their ground-floor restaurant has been on the 'must-eat' list for several years running and is very famous and popular locally, with long queues every day – definitely give it a try. Hotel guests get a 10% discount, and remember to ask the front desk to arrange a table for you to skip the queue, otherwise, you'll be waiting forever.

After a careful selection process, I ended up with a truly disappointing hotel! I arrived full of expectations, but upon checking in at the lobby, the whole place felt more like a guesthouse. The service team also lacked professionalism and didn't live up to the hotel's price tag. After check-in, a staff member took my luggage to the room. The room lighting was dim and uncomfortable. The guest room was right by the road, and the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear all the traffic. The bathroom size was decent, but the toilet wasn't smart, was difficult to flush, and splashed water! The TV was small, but you could cast to it. And believe it or not, the complimentary welcome fruit was rotten! There were no trash cans in the room, so I had to take all my trash to the bathroom. Dinner was the most disheartening part! It was incredibly bad! Every single dish was unappetizing, with the only acceptable one being the stir-fried bok choy. The moment the first dish arrived, I knew it was going to be a disaster. The serving order was completely messed up; cold dishes weren't served first. Instead, they brought out a hot stir-fried beef dish, and I immediately knew it was over. When ordering takeout, I was told it could only be delivered to the guardhouse, but I could contact guest services to have it brought to my room. For a resort-style hotel, breakfast only runs until 10:00 AM, whereas most resorts serve breakfast until at least 11 AM or later. However, after that first dinner, we didn't even bother with breakfast, and we avoided every meal afterward, afraid of hitting another culinary low.

This Luxury Collection hotel is truly fantastic! The moment you step in, you're hit with an incredible sense of design; every snap is Instagram-worthy. The staff's service is exceptionally personalized – they seem to anticipate your needs without you even asking. Breakfast is bountiful, offering both local specialties and Western pastries, and everything tastes authentically Guangxi. The room is spacious and comfortable, the bedding is so inviting you just want to sink in and sleep, and the high-floor views from the window are absolutely stunning. I initially expected a hotel of this caliber to be a bit cold, but every single detail made me feel so warm and welcomed. My overall impression after staying here is: worth every penny! I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit, and I highly recommend it to all my friends coming to the area!

Traveling with my family, young and old, during the May Day holiday, the room view was absolutely incredible! We could just lie on the sofa by the window and enjoy the stunning terraced fields – so comfortable and relaxing. The B&B is right next to the 'Thousand-Layer Terraces,' about a 15-20 minute walk away. Alternatively, the owner can drop you off at the cable car station to take the cable car up to 'Jinfoding' (Golden Buddha Peak), which the room directly faces. It made for a truly amazing experience. Dining at the B&B was also super convenient. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were authentic. A glass of their homemade rice wine really awakens your taste buds and lifts your spirits! 😁

This hidden gem of a resort, nestled amidst the karst mountains of Chongzuo, truly lives up to its reputation as the perfect place to unwind and relax! The entire hotel occupies its own hilltop, offering complete privacy, peace, and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of city life. The rooms feature massive floor-to-ceiling windows, and with a single push of a button on the electric curtains, you can enjoy panoramic views of the peaks, terraced fields, and mist right from your bed. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bathrooms spotless, and the decor is simple yet soothing. The infinity pool at the mountain top, backed by the surrounding peaks, offers breathtaking views, perfect for stunning photos. Breakfast is a semi-buffet with Vietnamese pho, and the resort boasts a full range of amenities including a mahjong room, billiards, and a children's play area. The butler service is attentive and thoughtful. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing slow-paced getaway, and I'll definitely be back!

The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and the service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They introduced us to Guilin's famous rice noodles, and were especially patient in explaining the hotel's mascot, the cormorant, to my child, even taking into account our dietary restrictions. A special thanks to Daisy in the executive lounge and Emily at the front desk during check-out. They both truly showed their passion for their work and their dedication to guests.
