A nice hotel close to Kanazawa Station and around 20 minutes walking to the major tourist attractions. The room was big and quiet at night. The amenities were plentiful and the room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel if you need to take an early train or bus from the station. The breakfast offered a good selection but it was certainly overpriced (¥1900) for the quality. I’d recommend eating breakfast elsewhere if you’re on a budget or if you’re looking for something really tasty.
Great hotel in the heart of Kanazawa! Located next to Omicho market, walking distance to Kanazawa castle and Kenrouku Gardens. Fantastic hotel with friendly and helpful staff, especially the front desk. Amenities were also excellent and nice comfortable bed and room size.
It’s also the only hotel I’ve stayed in where my request for extra pillows and towels were really fulfilled! I’m so glad and thankful to the hotel for going the extra mile for my requests.
And not to forget the nice public bath with nice views! Housekeeping was awesome too with providing clean rooms and sheets within a short time ! Excellent hotel and great staff! Keep up the great service!
Very good location and accessible via underground link from Kanazawa Station. Very easy to navigate around the underground network. Many food options nearby. 10 mins walk to the popular Omicho market for fresh seafood and dining options. Room is well maintained.
Helpful front desk staff and concierge. Will choose this hotel if visiting Kanazawa.
It’s not at the train station. Would need to use the bus or taxi, though it’s not too difficult. There are many bus lines go through the nearby stop. It’s a walking distance to 近江町市場, a famous seafood market.
My wife and I have had a 3-night stay at this Hotel Wing International Premium Kanazawa Ekimae Room #1105 from 8 to 11 October 2025.
The Hotel is just a 5-minute walk away from the Kanazawa Station (which has a beautiful structure called the Drum Gate). Its reception is located on the 13th Floor, and it has limited parking lots on the 1st Floor. So we are grateful and thankful that we were given a lot for just ¥1000 per day for 3 days. The Hotel staff are polite and helpful, and are able to communicate in English.
As the Hotel is located right in the city centre, so shopping centres with food courts are within walking distance, and it is about a 15-minute walk to the popular Omicho Market and the historic old town site.
The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the bathroom - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower.
The Hotel also provides free drinks (coffee and green tea) at the reception throughout morning till night.
At SGD S$68 per night, we find it very value for money, and we will choose to stay here if we travel to Kanazawa again.
room spacious & clean, have free coffee, can get ice from ground floor, near 711 & family mart
washing machine and microwave in room was nice to have :)
area accessible, 12 min walk from kanazawa sation
we walked to Higashiyama Chaya, Samurai District, Kenrokuen Garde, 21st Century Museum
will stay here again when we bring the family to Kanazawa
for this room, they added a bed for the third person which made the room super compacted and we barely had room to put our stuff/walk. Staff is nice but a bit overwhelmed due to the holiday season. It's very nicely renovated and fantastic but not really worth the price considering all the other hotels around the area. Also no amenities:(

W załączeniu jedzenie i sceneria pobliskich atrakcji.
Great location, close to the seafood market and within walking distance of the station.
However, the check in process took unnecessarily long time. There was only one staff at the counter and a small groups of 4 guests occupied the 2 check-in machines for a long time, one even without passport and had walked out from the hotel’s front door to look for passport. Yet, the staff didn’t ask them to step aside from the machine.
Another Japanese gentleman, also showed frustration while waiting, asked loudly for assistance. We eventually also had to stop a staff member for manual check‑in, which took only 2 minutes. Meanwhile, that same group continued asking about wechat, dinner suggestion, and breakfast venue right in front of the check-in machines. If we didn’t proactively ask for help, then it would take even longer to stand in the line!
This was the last thing travelers needed when finally arriving the hotel from a long journey in winter night.
Fantastyczny

Amazing
YYuduotianPatThis was my first time visiting Kanazawa and staying at this onsen ryokan, and it offered excellent value for money. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with very fresh sashimi, fruits, and milk. The room was comfortable and cozy, and the onsen was fantastic, very relaxing. They even offered complimentary late-night ramen after 9:30 PM, which was also tasty. I would definitely choose to stay at this onsen ryokan again on my next visit to Kanazawa.
WWoailvxingdianyingyinyueyueduStayed at Kanazawa Blue Time Youth Hostel for six consecutive nights.
After arriving at Komatsu Airport, it costs 1300 yen to take the airport bus directly to Kanazawa Station. From the Gumen of the Kanazawa Station sign, walk about 150m to the building where the Youth Hostel is located. The Youth Hostel is located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator here. It is not convenient to carry large boxes.
The location of the Youth Hostel is very convenient. It is a 3-minute walk to Kanazawa Station. There are various dining and supermarkets in the station. You can walk to the sightseeing areas such as Jinjiang Market, Kenliuyuan, Kanazawa City, 21st Century Art Museum, Dongchawu Street and other sightseeing areas. You can also buy a 1-day bus ticket to visit Kanazawa in the Kanazawa Station sightseeing case.
I stayed in a girls' bed room. The area needs to enter the password. The privacy is very good. There are seven girls' beds. There is a toilet and a shower room for girls. It is clean and comfortable. There is a facial cleanser shower gel conditioner hair dryer. The bed is very spacious, not the bunk bed but the single floor, the space is quite large, there is a locker with a password in the bed, there are slippers, a clean bath towel is provided every day during the stay, and the free network signal is stable. There is also a special tea room in the girls area with a water heater microwave oven. Note that toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided here. Shower room is small and can feel cramped and crowded for tall people. The only problem for me is that the mattress is too soft and I am not very comfortable with it myself.
The public space of the Youth Hostel provides free coffee and tea, and the mixed dormitory area also has a shower room washing area washing machine dryer, which is more complete. This is a good affordable place to stay when traveling alone in Kanazawa, and I have a pleasant time here. Kanazawa is a clean, beautiful, quaint and charming city, and I hope to have the opportunity to visit again.
TTY-Ngeasy to find, just 2 min walk from train station and a big building in your right hand side. Though not a new hotel with something in common area preferred to be renewed; in side the room is very nice, large room compared with usual standard.
Breakfast very nice
GGuest UserThis was a truly satisfying stay. Before checking in, I had visited Shirakawa-go and was a little disappointed not to see any snow. But then, on my first morning at the hotel, I pulled back the curtains to find it snowing heavily! It was absolutely amazing. I decided right then and there not to go anywhere and just enjoy the snow from the hotel.
The hotel is a bit older, but the room was clean and tidy. I had upgraded my room, and it wasn't small at all. The area mentioned in the description probably just refers to the room itself, but the entryway was also very spacious, allowing me to easily open my large luggage. The indoor balcony in front was also quite large, perfect for a family to sit and enjoy the snow.
The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct mountain views, with the river flowing right below. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant lobby were even more stunning – it was wonderful to enjoy the snow while dining.
Even the outdoor onsen provided beautiful views of the snow and river while soaking. The best part was how few people there were; both times, it was just me and my daughter, so there was no need to book a private onsen.
Behind the hotel, there's a walking trail. We explored it that day, and while the heavy snow made it a bit challenging to walk, it was incredibly beautiful and completely deserted. Every photo we took was a scenic masterpiece. Our shoes and socks got wet on the way back, but thankfully, we didn't feel cold.
There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient to buy food and other necessities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
The staff were also very friendly. Although most of them didn't speak English, they used translation software, so communication was just a bit slow.
GGuest UserThe hotel's overall design is stunning, and the traditional Japanese ambiance envelops you from the moment you step through the door. The use of gold, red, and black makes the entire hotel feel elegant, dignified, and luxurious. The products in the on-site gift shop are also very unique and beautiful, making you want to buy them, and they aren't even particularly expensive.
KKyooTieGreat location, this hotel was easily located within walking distance from the major Samurai / Geisha streets. It felt very safe and the bed was extremely comfy.
The breakfast selection was simple, but there were plenty of restaurants and conbinis nearby for when you get a bit peckish.
MMiaowuThis hotel is super convenient, right next to JR Kanazawa Station. The rooms are large, neat, and clean, and even come with a small kitchen. The service is excellent, and they offer free coffee, Ichiban Shibori beer, and other drinks in the lobby every day – I especially loved the apple sparkling water! It's an outstanding hotel that I highly recommend.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel is clearly showing its age and may not meet expectations for those looking for a more modern or well-maintained stay. While it carries the IHG branding, the overall experience feels dated.
One of the main challenges was communication. The front desk staff had very limited English proficiency, making it difficult to get clear directions—especially regarding parking. Guests are required to go to the front desk to ask about parking arrangements, which is not very convenient. The signage outside is also misleading, and it’s easy to mistakenly park at a nearby open-air lot that charges ¥100 per 15 minutes or ¥1000 for 12 hours. The hotel’s designated parking is actually located in a shopping mall, which is not immediately obvious.
The rooms themselves are quite old, with worn facilities. The bathroom had a noticeable musty smell, suggesting poor ventilation or maintenance. Amenities were basic—Dove toiletries were provided instead of the more commonly seen Pola brand in Japanese hotels. The air conditioning was also ineffective, which made the stay less comfortable.
That said, the hotel does have one strong advantage: location. It is directly opposite Ōmichō Market, making it very convenient for exploring the market and enjoying a great local breakfast.
Overall, this hotel may be suitable for travelers
who prioritize location over comfort, but those expecting a smoother and more modern stay might want to consider other options.
RR ToroBrilliant boutique hotel with truly kind and amazing staff. Only 15 rooms but the staff truly outsize the hotel in terms of what would wow me. They really make you feel very comfortable and safe. Great location to visit Kenrokuen!
NNijuedewoyinggaijiaoshenmeGreat location, very close to the station and surprisingly quiet. However, there was a strong BBQ smell in the hotel hallway, likely from the yakiniku restaurant downstairs. It actually smelled quite good! We even ended up eating there. My clothes definitely smelled of grilled meat afterward. I didn't take any photos of the hotel itself, but it had a rather artistic vibe to it.
