First Impression: The Luxurious Ritual of a European Castle Subtle and Secluded Driveway: As the car turned from the tree-lined Dunhua North Road, it entered a highly private French-style circular driveway, exclusively designed for VIP guests. Museum-Quality Artistic Ambiance: Stepping into the grand and towering lobby, guests are greeted by an aesthetic space adorned with over 1,700 original artworks and exquisite giant crystal chandeliers. Impeccable Welcome Service: The front desk service is attentive and seamless. Upon being seated, guests are immediately presented with a ceremonial special hibiscus welcome tea and hot towels.

This was a pleasant stay. We were traveling with a child, and I had specifically requested a high floor in my Ctrip booking notes. To my surprise, the hotel really paid attention to it! The hotel has 30 floors in total, and they put us on the 29th floor, which was absolutely perfect with fantastic views. **Cleanliness:** The room had a separate wet and dry area, and the toilet was smart and very clean. **Transportation:** The hotel is located right above Wanhua Railway Station. You just turn a corner from the ticketing hall of Wanhua Station and you're there. It's also only a 5-minute walk to Longshan Temple MRT Station. **Local Food:** Around Longshan Temple MRT Station, there's an Oyster Vermicelli shop (diagonally opposite the 50 Lan milk tea shop) that you absolutely *must* try. The flavor is great and it's generously portioned. I dare say you won't find a better oyster vermicelli in all of Taiwan. Remember, next to the oyster vermicelli shop, there's a place selling grilled sausages – grab one of those too. Vermicelli + grilled sausage = a perfect combination! There's also a night market in Longshan Temple in the evenings.

I was very satisfied with this stay. It was my first time in Kenting, and I chose the Caesar Park Hotel. I pre-booked the shuttle from Zuoying, Kaohsiung, and everything went smoothly from the start. We arrived at the hotel in over two hours. Although it's 40 years old, the hotel is very well-maintained, the decor is modern, and the service attitude was excellent. Upon check-in, the front desk gave us dining vouchers for the Little Bay Bar and the hotel lobby bar. Sitting on Little Bay Beach opposite the hotel in the evening was very pleasant. The food at the lobby bar was also delicious! The room came with new flip-flops, which were quite comfortable. All the facilities are new, there's a coffee machine, water dispensers on every floor, and self-service washing machines and dryers. The room also had complimentary drinks and snacks, and the soundproofing was excellent! Even with a garden view, it was still very beautiful, and you could see the mountain scenery. The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of Kenting Main Street. The lobby has bicycles available for rent, and there are also Ubikes outside. Taxis are also quite convenient! You need a ********* ID to rent a car. Breakfast was also good and quite varied. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience!

Hotel is relative clean. Stayed in a single room with a semi double bed. Size is decent but didn’t realised it was behind the lifts, could hear the lift moving through out the day. The shower head position is pretty bad. It’s not on an angle it’s pretty much like spraying directly into your body. It would be great if they could address this. It’s 15 mins walk from the metro station so not closed. Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Crawled out of the drain

Really solid stay at the DoubleTree Zhongshan. The warm cookie at check-in sounds like a gimmick but after a long flight it actually hits different 😂 Location is the biggest win about 5 mins walk to Zhongshan MRT station, and the area around it is full of cafes and small shops. Ximending and Taipei Main Station are just a couple of stops away, super convenient without being in the middle of the chaos. Room was clean and modern, not the biggest but well laid out, and the bed was really comfortable. Bathroom had a proper walk-in shower with good water pressure. City view from my floor was nice at night. Staff spoke good English and were genuinely helpful asked for restaurant recommendations and got proper local suggestions instead of the usual tourist spots. Breakfast had a good mix of ********* and Western food, the congee and dan bing were my go-to every morning. Only minor gripe is the gym is on the smaller side, but everything else more than made up for it. Would happily stay here again next time in Taipei.

This trip marked our seven-month anniversary, and it added so many wonderful memories as we head towards our eighth month together. Upon check-in, the hotel learned we were celebrating our anniversary and thoughtfully upgraded us to a mountain-view room. The in-room welcome drinks were incredibly generous, featuring mini beers, plum wine, coke, and Pocari Sweat – essential for rehydration after a soak; they even included face masks to pamper us while we enjoyed the in-room hot spring bath. All the room's fixtures and fittings were new and high-quality: a Toto washlet, a Panasonic 1400 nanoe hairdryer, a thoughtful wooden gua sha massage comb, and hyaluronic acid-infused shower gel that left skin feeling smooth and soft. What truly amazed me were the double-layered automatic curtains (even in the room's private hot spring area!). The double room's bathtub was spacious enough for up to four people – a very comfortable size. In the afternoon, the lobby offered preserved fruits and freshly brewed tea, perfect for a relaxing break after a dip in the outdoor public hot spring. After dinner, they provided handmade kumquat-flavored tofu pudding, and it was unlimited – so generous! (There's a lovely staff member in the lobby, Tina, who's a treasure trove of recommendations for local food and sights; don't hesitate to ask her for her secret list of must-try places!) Many popular spots are only open from Friday to Sunday or during specific hours, like mornings until 2 PM. (Luckily, you can find a lot of food on Uber Eats!) Heartily recommend!
