I had an amazing stay at The Knot, Hiroshima! The hotel is stylish and perfectly located, making it so easy to explore the city. The bar was fantastic, and breakfast was absolutely incredible – there were so many options to choose from. I loved the small touches in the room, like the chic dressing gown, which made the stay feel extra special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A standout for me were The Knot Coins – complimentary tokens for snacks and drinks – I used mine for a Basque cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!
Very grand hotel, dated in the age of build. Very clean bathroom and beds. Amazing, grand entrance way. Very close to sightseeing areas and local sighseening bus stops. Excellent view of the city. Lots of personal amenity provided (toothbrush etc). Access to gym/fitness centre is additional (substantial) costs.
Lovely staff with excellent English.
it was the only airport at the Hiroshima airport. free shuttle is given. it is convenient for flying in and out if u need a night next to airport. price is reasonable for quality given.
It’s connected to the main station and Level 2’s exit gets you to the Shinkansen.
It is a wonderful hotel with all required amenities and a great bed to sleep on. If you have back issues, this is the place!
Hotel was clean and conveniently located near a family mart. Service was great! We managed to check in and send our luggages with the assistance of the staff smoothly. The hotel gym is 24hrs as well - it is an Anytime fitness gym - fully equipped gym. Very pleased with the equipment inside. You can gain access by going to the front desk for some key card, or you can just use your own AF keyfob.
Room however, was very small for 2 packs even with small-mid sized luggages.
Stayed two nights at Onomichi Kokusai to do the Shiminami Kaido cycling route and really enjoyed my stay. The shuttle bus is a good perk (shoutout to Toshi the afternoon driver who was the best and so genuinely fun to chat with and helpful. Give him a raise!) but otherwise it’s a 20 min walk to the center of town where the station is. If you come in earlier in the day before check in time, keep in mind that there will not be shuttle buses running available. And when you do want to take a shuttle bus, you have to book via a site 15 mins prior to departure time which is exactly on time.
There’s also shuttle service to the public baths which I made use of and it’s cheaper than buying the voucher from the hotel than from the onsen directly.
No complaints about cleanliness and the room suites my needs. I’d definitely stay again if I do the cycling route again!
Fantastic! Great facilities, super friendly staff, and close to Hiroshima station. I was even able to check in a few hours before the listed check-in time. Only thing might have been that the lights had to stay on in the shared hostel room for security reasons (understandable), which might make it difficult to sleep for some, but a sleeping mask and ear plugs are a quick fix for this. Would def recommend here!
The hotel is located at a rather quiet and less busy street. From Hiroshima station (north exit), it just takes about 5 minutes walk. If you have the google map on hand, it will be helpful. The front desk staff are nice. The room is also clean and neat. You can get what you need for a trip. You have to leave the room key at the front desk when you are out for security. There are some local small restaurants around. The sightseeing bus and the street car are in the south side of the station, very convenient. I enjoyed this trip.

Very Good
GGuest UserGood location, less than 1km from Onomichi Station. For those arriving by Shinkansen, the hotel is about 4km from Shin-Onomichi Station. Excellent Japanese breakfast. Only downside: the bed is a bit small.
GGuest UserThe hotel offers aesthetically impressive rooms that match the pictures, with the breathtaking view surpassing all expectations in person. The staff also provided excellent service in accommodating food intolerances. Unfortunately, the culinary experience was disappointing; the food was too mild and underwhelming for the price paid. Furthermore, the Onsen facility was inadequate: it lacked variety with only 2 warm pools and a steam sauna, offered no varying water temperatures (and the cold plunge pool was not cold enough). Additionally, the desired peaceful atmosphere was disrupted by having more of a socializing gathering in the onsen, which lowered the overall impression and value of the wellness area. In summary: excellent rooms but we would have expected more value for money regarding the food and spa.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful time enjoying the onsen bath, recliner lounge, ocean terrace and beautiful view from our room (Note: trip.com booking of lowest priced room with sea view is not correct as the room is located at the lowest level and you only see trees before the ocean. We need to pay extra to upgrade the room to a better view). There's a private onsen bath tub in the room too. They also provide free coffee, popsicle sticks and yukata at the lobby. Dinner and breakfast has a reasonable spread but most food (especially the fried ones) are pre-cooked and cold. So they don't taste as good. The location is high up the hills. It's not possible to get a bus and then climb up with heavy luggages. The best way is to take a taxi, so be prepared to pay the price.
TtorislimI'd seen Cyclist in a magazine years ago, and my trip to Hiroshima made it a must-see. Arriving in Onomichi, I discovered that U2, the most iconic building in the area, is a complex of hotels, restaurants, shops, and a cycling club. Even with its industrial style, the details are impeccable. The room layout was very practical, the bathroom had a bathtub and was spacious, and all the toiletries were from Osaji, with a very soothing lavender scent.
The only drawback was the lack of body lotion. Given Osaji's high-quality amenities, and considering Japan's dry climate, body lotion is essential in a space without a humidifier.
The hotel offers bicycle rental by reservation, but if you don't have a reservation, you can rent from the adjacent Giant shop, which has a wide selection of models. The hotel has a cafe and bakery right next to each other, so you can buy bread and then grab a coffee. The harbor view is amazing, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't great due to the rainy season.
AAnonymous UserHonestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed I Japan. Elegant design, clean, helpful and friendly staff. There is a large Aeon right next to it so buying snacks or dinner is easy too. It’s a little far from the central area, but still walkable.
GGuest UserFelt welcomed by the hotel staff, shared rooms have properly divided beds. Fully equiped with basic amenities such as shampoo, body gel, towels, lockers...
The lounge was full of books to read (tourism books, novels, manga...) and is tastefully decorated. Family-friendly place.
Close to the local train line that travels to Miyajimaguchi harbour (Ferry to the island) in barely 6 minutes.
Great experience overall.
GGuest UserI went on a two-day, one-night trip with my girlfriend for the first time and decided to stay at Miyajima Villa.
I selected a triple-bed room with a sea view. As soon as I arrived at the hotel and checked in, I was told it was on the second floor. I thought, ”Huh?”, and when I got to the room and opened the sliding window door, I was disappointed. It was more of a parking lot view than a sea view. After that, I didn't open the sliding door again. I think it would be fine to stay on the second floor facing the mountains. If you're planning to stay, I recommend requesting a higher floor.
Although the start was disappointing, other than that, the cleanliness, large public bath, breakfast, and service were all impeccable.
I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
EefremovSome magical place - hotel, coffee shop, restaurant, Onsen, all under one control, beautiful comfortable room, excellent staff - all showed-reported, wet clothes were arranged to wash-dry, with everything helped, for bikes there is a parking, But we put in the room
