Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency Kuantan, especially the ambience and hospitality. However, there are a few areas that require attention. Cons / Areas for Improvement: 1. Water pressure was quite slow, especially for the shower. When turned to hot water, the pressure increased, but once switched to cold, it became extremely weak. 2. There was water maintenance work happening during our stay. Although the hotel assured that everything was under control, it did affect our comfort while on holiday. 3. We noticed a small clump of dust on the floor. While it was minor, as we were staying with a 2-year-old toddler, it raised concerns as children tend to put things into their mouth. Housekeeping may need to be more thorough. 4. There should be better control of wild monkeys, especially around the parking area. I was chased and nearly bitten, which was quite frightening and unsafe for guests. Pros / What We Appreciate: 1. Excellent service recovery — I forgot to disable the “Do Not Disturb” sign but informed the front desk to clean the room. The housekeeping staff called first to ask for permission before entering, which shows professionalism and true 5-star service standards. 2. The hotel’s surroundings are beautiful, clean, and very calming — truly breathtaking. 3. The beach is very clean and conveniently located right next to the hotel. 4. Large swimming pools (two pools available), so it never felt crowded. 5. Staff were extremely friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Conclusion: Hyatt Regency Kuantan has great potential with its beautiful location, facilities, and outstanding staff. With improvements in water system management, housekeeping checks, and wildlife control, the overall guest experience would be even better.

Stayed at Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan and it was such a relaxing experience. The environment is peaceful and perfect for a short escape from the city. The hotel is located right by the beach, so you get a beautiful natural vibe throughout your stay. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — plenty of space to unwind and enjoy. Hotel facilities are great, including a swimming pool, gym, kids-friendly areas, and dining options, all well-maintained and convenient for both couples and families. The highlight is definitely the view 🌅 You can catch both stunning sunrise and sunset by the beach, which makes it extra special. Waking up to the sea view and ending the day with golden sunset moments is just perfect.

We stayed at Chateau Spa, Bukit Tinggi for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was a truly pleasant and relaxing experience. The resort was peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect place to unwind and celebrate a special occasion. The room was clean, and the toilet was well kept, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff service was truly tip-top—everyone was attentive, caring, and clearly prioritised our wellbeing and comfort throughout our stay. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out. As for the food, breakfast and the buffet were fine, but the à la carte meals for lunch and dinner were definitely worth the money. The portion sizes matched the price well, and there was a good variety of Western and Malay cuisine. We tried the Western dishes, including salmon and steak, and they were delicious. The spa prices were affordable, though booking in advance is recommended. We visited during the last few days of December, and the weather was cold and lovely, adding to the overall relaxing experience. We left feeling happy, refreshed, and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway or a special celebration.

Reasonable location and price. Hotel has massage, bistro for beer and food. Hotel does not provide toothbrush or slippers etc, do prepare for your own.

Great location which just in fromt of East Coast Mall. The room is nice, comfortable and spacious to stay. I stayed here during Ramadhan, so it’s easy to get food for Iftar at the shopping mall. The hotel also provide Sahur with variety of foods. However, the room can be improved especially in the toilet which got some black stains. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and will repeat again.

The staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive to our request, truly elevating the hospitality experience. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a newly refurbished 2-bedroom suite, having the extra space made our stay so much more comfortable. Huge thanks to the front desk for the unexpected surprise—their hospitality is truly top-tier. Just one small improvement - the spotlights at the street make the rooms too bright for sleep. I would suggest the hotel management to consider to install thicker black out curtains.

The hotel is located right next to the beach, offering a relaxing resort atmosphere. It has been refurbished, so everything feels modern and comfortable. The service from the staff is excellent, making the stay even more pleasant. There are also plenty of food options nearby, so you don’t have to travel far to find something to eat. Free parking is available, and valet service is also offered starting from RM68 per day for cars and RM48 per day for motorcycles. The swimming pool is clean and comfortable, though proper swimwear is required. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it for a relaxing beachside getaway.

Od momentu przybycia powitano nas przyjaznymi uśmiechami i orzeźwiającym drinkiem, co od razu nadało ton niezapomnianemu pobytowi. Najważniejszą cechą była nienaganna obsługa. Każdy członek personelu był uprzejmy, troskliwy i szczerze chętny do pomocy. Niezależnie od tego, czy organizowaliśmy wycieczki ze snorkelingiem, wędrówki po dżungli, czy po prostu dzieliliśmy się lokalnymi ciekawostkami, zespół sprawił, że czuliśmy się doceniani i otoczeni troską. Jeśli szukasz spokojnego wypoczynku, który jednocześnie oferuje przygodę, komfort i niesamowite krajobrazy, Berjaya Tioman Resort to idealne miejsce.

Ostatnio miałem okazję pobyć w Adena Beach Resort, i szczerze okazało się to naprawdę odświeżające ucieczkę. Największą spektaklą jest zdecydowanie prywatny plaża. Obudzenie się do dźwięku fal i zdolność do pieszego pieszo do plaży rano jest czymś, czego nie dostajesz wszędzie. Plaża była czysta, spokojna i idealna do powolnego ranka spaceru podczas wschodu słońca. Pokoje były wygodne i dobrze utrzymane, z relaksującym widokiem, który sprawia, że czujesz się jakbyś naprawdę na przerwie z miasta. Sama kurort ma spokojną atmosferę nie zbyt zatłoczone, co sprawiło, że pobyt jeszcze bardziej przyjemny. Inną rzeczą, którą doceniłem, była przyjazna i pomocna pracownicy. Od check-in do check-out, obsługa czuła się ciepła i przyjemna. Małe gesty z zespołu naprawdę sprawiły, że pobyt był bardziej przyjemny. Jeśli szukasz spokojnej plaży ucieczki w Pahang, zwłaszcza w pobliżu Kuantan, Adena Beach Resort jest zdecydowanie warto rozważyć. To jest rodzaj miejsca, gdzie można spowolnić, oddychać i po prostu cieszyć się wiatrem morskim przez jakiś czas. Z pewnością wróciłby ponownie na kolejny krótki wycofanie.

The bed were comfy. Room was clean. Somehow, the Internet connection was weak inside the room. Connection was good at lobby and breakfast area. The shuttle from hotel to first world is Rm 8 per person per way. Only 13 seats inside the van. Try check grab fares for few times maybe 5 ~10 minutes interval, the fare could be huge different ( may as low as rm5 per car , or as high as rm25 per car during my stay - saturday around 6pm )
