I recently booked Sara Sadan Hotel in Kathmandu for my parents, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hospitality and clear guidance provided by the staff were excellent. My parents were very comfortable during their stay and were truly happy with the service. The staff were extremely friendly, respectful, and always helpful. This is the second time I stayed at Ramada Encore in Thamel. I was not wrong to choose it again. Absolutely everything is good here ... the staff, the room,the breakfast (oh my, sooooo good), the location, the friendliness of every single employee, from the door in. A special recognition to Nikhil in the reception, whose service and support with a sincere smile is as comforting as the sunshine on an early autumn morning. And to the staff and therapists on the spa where I took a couple of massages that were superb. Kathmandu is a beautiful, yet hectic city. Thamel even more, so to have this oasis to come to after a long day wandering around or trekking is something to treasure. In my case, this is even more meaningful as I left all my stuff to go hiking on the Himalayas for several days, coming back to the hotel with the certainty that I was going to be happily and truly welcome. Again, I was not wrong. Thank you for making a difference and for understanding what the word service means. I will certainly choose you again and again every time I come back to this unique Kathmandu I learned to love. Namaste, 🙏🏼.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The restaurant was excellent, and every meal was delicious and well prepared. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax. Most of all, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always making me feel welcome. Thanks to their hospitality, my stay was truly enjoyable, and I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Nice hotel with best service! Really enjoy the stay at here. And after trekking I'm super tired. And guess what, I got FREE UPGRADE for my room !!! 🥰 Feel safe even though I'm solo. As they have a security guard at the lobby. And the staff and owner are super nice and welcoming

Restauracja Skyline jest najpiękniejsza o zachodzie słońca w tym hotelu. Przezroczysta, szklana podłoga pozwala podziwiać wszystko pod stopami. Wielu mieszkańców również się tu stroi i przychodzi, by podziwiać widoki warte miliony dolarów. Jeśli się tu zatrzymasz, możesz również zjeść śniadanie w formie bufetu w tej samej restauracji. Korzystałam z basenu i sauny na 9. piętrze. Personel jest tam bardzo uprzejmy i przyjazny. Poczuj się tam jak królowa! Pokój jest super czysty i pięknie pachnie! Jestem pod wrażeniem klimatyzacji. Uwierz mi, to rzadkość w Katmandu! Wszystko jest bardzo dobre od samego początku do końca pobytu. Oferują darmowy transport na lotnisko. Gorąco polecam zarezerwować ostatnie noce w Nepalu i cieszyć się relaksującym wieczorem!

Lovely stay in Hotel Thrive. The hotel is located just off the main tourist hub in Thamel, it’s a very short walk and the hotel has security 24/7. The main courtyard is beautiful, a true tropical calm oasis away from the busy streets of Kathmandu. The rooms are spacious and modern with all the amenities you would need alongside daily housekeeping. The gym is compact but with good, well kept modern machinery and fantastic views across Kathmandu. The breakfast is delicious with ample choice to suit everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay again when we next visit Kathmandu.

I think the best quality of this hotel is the service which was perfect . They were sooo nice and welcoming. Booked an early airport drop off for me in a reasonable price and packed my breakfast for the flight! (Which btw is included in the price of the room. The room comes with shampoo, toothbrush and paste, enough water, coffee and tea and there's a kettle. I only needed one night and for that it was good, but! 🙏 If you want a clean room, that is the weak spot of the place The room was not clean, there were stains and hairs on the bad (not mine) And there's a wall-to-wall carpet which is old and dirty So I'm having mix feeling in this review. Overall, I recommend for short term stays :)

The hotel is conveniently situated right behind of the Garden of Dreams. Just a short walking distance to the busy Thamel area. The vicinity has convenience stores, cafes, eateries and pharmacy. The room is quite small but it's alright for a short stay. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other hotels that I've stayed. Very basic fitness facility in the hotel, do wish that they would make the gym bigger and better equipped. The breakfast buffet is good enough for some fuel before heading out to explore. Omelette could definitely be improved but I do like the mushrooms and bacon with my omelette. They also have a soup station which you can pick what you want to go into your soup. The soy latte was nicely done. Some day they serve the chocolate cake which is a must try. Staffs are very well trained and speaks good english. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the value for money, fantastic location and good hospitality.

On this special day, I chose to check in at Shanker hotel. The warm service,delicious food and quality environment,everything is so good. The hotel prepares decorations and cake very thoughtfully, surprised us. Due to the late arrival time, the hotel also thoughtfully provided me with dinner order so that could enjoy it when we arrived. Finally the food upexpectedly delicious. I recommend you to choose Shanker hotel. Wherever it’s a vacation or celebration it is best choice.
