Hotele z: breakfast w Salzburg State, Austria

We came thinking the resto and bar would be open, but found out we were there out of season. We booked on Trip.com which didn't have the details on the closure for low season, so check the website for details depending on the time of year. Otherwise the place was nice, parking was easy, and the view from the hotel was great. It's about a 7 minute drive up from the town.

The room is ok clean. Everything is organised. Love the complementary snacks, free beer and cola in mini bar. The staff is pragmatic, may be seen as rude by someone, but I do not care about this too much. You only see the staff when checking in and checking out. Well, it is located near the train station, very convenient if you want to use Salzburg as a hub to visit other places.

I booked an “executive” room at a rate above the already high standard price, largely because the listing photos showed a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. In reality, the only “executive” feature seemed to be that it was located on the 6th floor. Access to the executive lounge was not included and required an extra fee — and from what I saw when peeking inside, it certainly didn’t seem worth paying for. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom. It was shockingly small, with a shower stall easily under 1m². As a petite Asian woman, I still found it uncomfortably cramped and awkward, especially when washing my hair. The space looked nothing like the listing photos, which feels misleading. I regret not raising this with reception immediately, but the more I used the room, the more dissatisfied I became. Misrepresentation in promotional images is simply unacceptable, and I will be attaching comparison photos to show the difference. The room itself also fell short in comfort. The pillows were so thin that they flattened to bed level the moment you lay on them — we had to fold them in half just for the extra height for support. Amenities were extremely basic and in no way justified the high room rate. This was my first time staying at a Wyndham property, and I sincerely hope this is not reflective of the brand’s overall standards. The only plus point of this hotel like other properties at the area is that it’s near the main train station and transportation. Service at check in was also very helpful with the nice lady taking time giving directions with a map.

would definitely come back & stay at H+ Salzburg if i have the chance to go Salzburg again. The bus & train stations are just right in front of the hotel, make it easier to go to Hallstatt or the outskirts. There’s a mall beside and a lot of good food around too. The view from the hotel was amazing too, not to mention that the front desk was super informative and friendly. i felt welcome! hope to see you again H+ Salzburg 👋

Was an amazing place to stay with everything you could ask for! Was able to do a late check in past midnight. Had a phenomenal shower and very comfortable bed. 10/10 would recommend!

Recepcja nie zawsze ma pierwszeństwo w kolejce klientów. Czekanie w długiej kolejce do zameldowania, kiedy jest moja kolej, recepcja po prostu każe mi wypełnić formularz i znowu muszę wracać do długiego pytania. Ktoś ma ten sam problem co ja, ale nie wraca do nowego pytania, a recepcja nie zgłasza żadnych skarg. Podczas wymeldowania recepcja nie sprawdza, czy wymeldowałem się przed terminem, patrzy na mnie krzywo i mówi, że się spóźniłem, żeby coś pomylić. Jestem na czacie, ale jak zawsze, gdy ktoś przeszkadza w lobby, zawsze najpierw zwraca się do obsługi klienta. Nie jestem pod wrażeniem.

Thank you to the receptionist for the warm, reassuring welcome in Salzburg 🤍 After a long journey, it felt great to be greeted with such friendly, confident service. I instantly felt at ease — love the nature-themed decor too! The hotel is super convenient: 3-min walk to the train station and lots of nearby food options. Major attractions are walkable. The room is clean and cozy, with YouTube and Netflix. No phone, kettle, fridge, (I think no utensils too if I rmb correctly) in the room, but reception is always happy to help. The window opens for ventilation. If you need room cleaning, remember to inform reception a day in advance.

Замечательный красивый и чистый отель. Всё соответствует описанию и фото. Единственное предупреждение туристам из России : из-за онлайн ресепшн, оплата налога только онлайн. А это наличие иностранной карты. Ну и немного неудобно для спонтанного решения заселиться. Устали в дороге из Венеции. Решили забронировать за час до приезда. Было 18.30 . Приехали и ещё час ждали заселения... Рекомендую для не срочного заселения

I like it very much here. It's close to the train station and has many Chinese restaurants in the walking distance. Reception girl is very sweet and pretty. My room is large and homes good condition facilities. I like the breakfast dinner best on the 15th floor.

Amazing hotel, with large, clean and nicely-decorated rooms! The staff is lovely and speaks great English. The breakfast offered a large array of quality food, including complimentary a la carte items. Highly recommend!
