The landlord is very nice, we checked in before 8 o'clock in the morning from the ferry. I also patiently introduced us to the delicious and fun surroundings. Then, because the room was not full that day, we originally booked room 2 and the landlord let us live in room 5 on the top of the building. The view was very good. We stayed in room 11 upstairs in June 2024. The room was very small, with a low ceiling under the dormer. The double bed was small with a tiny duvet that barely covered the bed. They had maybe run out of clean sheets as instead of a bottom fitted sheet on the mattress they had used a valance sheet which didn't stay on. The mattress was hard foam, not sprung, which I found hard to sleep on. The bedside lights had odd lightbulbs, one was too adark and one ws too bright. There was one large window in the room with good views but it quickly steamed up as there was a lack of ventilation in the room. The window opened fully into the room with no way to lock it at a certain position to stop it blowing open or stop the rain coming in. The bathroom had a bath with a shower hose attached to the taps which worked surprising well, although it leaked a bit. There was no fan in the bathroom so again no ventilation. The bathroom was also dark. Breakfast was very good. Dinner at the asian restaurant on site was excellent. The staff were very friendly.
