ReTime located just shy away from Asahibashi station and a perfect walking distance from KOKUSAI DORI shopping street, tourist spots and various supermarkets. The hotel offers capsule rooms, family rooms and a cabin themed room where you are assigned either a top or bottom bunk. You also receive free slippers and borrow sleepwear during your stay. The hotel also offers complimentary basic amenities such as toothbrush, comb, shower caps, razors if you need them. At the lobby, there’s a beautiful wooden set of keyed lockers to choose to put away your shoes upon entering the building. The common space is cleaned very frequently, almost every few hours (Japan's standards will make you rethink your definition of cleanliness) and where guests can eat and drink (water and additional soft drinks provided, there's also a vending machine with a nice selection of snacks). The space very pleasantly airy with lots of sun, and overall a nice place to work, snack or relax as the cabin and capsule rooms have no windows. I loved the creativity as you are essentially sharing a bunk bed with privacy that’s provided with a sliding screen door. It’s decent, with adequate room for luggage but few may struggle if the luggage is quite large as the aisle can be a bit narrow. This can be reflected from your neighbour next door at times~! I found overall it was very comfortable and I was assigned the top bunk during my long stay. The bed is clean, with complimentary cleaning on the 7th day (10am-3pm), and there’s a decent sized desk. The privacy of the cabin room is definitely the main highlight about ReTime if one wishes for privacy but reduced budget than a standard hotel room. A slight issue with this kind of arrangement is shutting the screen doors may end up being noisy (the screen door naturally reduces soundproofing). However having stayed for quite some time, I found the bed and room overall very comfortable and decently spaced. If I stayed longer, this would not be an issue as the bed was quite spacious personally. The shower option as opposed to the public onsen baths is much appreciated as 1) some women are not comfortable with the public baths, and 2) when that time of the month happens...this would reassure future guests planning to come to ReTime. The additional complimentary ammeties such as toner, cleanser and lotion were surpising and great to use also. Some crticisms regarding the stay: upon entering, I was told check in was at 4pm, which is quite later than average . I found a coin locker nearby but would have liked to be informed I could have stayed in the common area until check in if desired. It was a bit dissapointing as I could have saved a few hundred yen and energy after a flight. The washing machine instruction was unclear as the yellow button had to be pressed before scanning the touch bracelet, the step which is not in the images, and the staff member assisting was a bit rude (it likely shows the issue with this particular step had occurred many times). Perhaps putting some numbered stickers may help with step by step - especially turning that yellow button to green. Overall it’s a positive experience to recharge and stay long term, however I personally found that the service can be improved. My 6-year-old daughter and I stayed here for two nights out of our five-night trip to Okinawa. After staying at R Hotel (name withheld) in Itoman City, I was quite disappointed with this hotel. **Pool:** The tiles in the lazy river were peeling off in places and scattered around the poolside, which felt dangerous. The floor of the lazy river also had peeling sections where my foot got stuck, causing pain. On the first day, I saw a plaster on the poolside, and it was still there on the second day, which was unpleasant. Don't they clean or repair things? Also, the blue towels for the pool were limited to one per person per day and couldn't be exchanged, which was a stark contrast to R Hotel. The large slides were all a lot of fun, though. **Public Bath:** There were no small, thin towels typically used in baths, so everyone was walking around naked between the bathing area and the changing room, making the changing room floor sticky. **Laundry:** I didn't use it but peeked inside. It was an old-fashioned twin-tub washer, and people were waiting in line in the heat, which looked difficult. I thought it would be much more convenient if there was a system to check machine availability from the room. **Staff:** The gentleman with glasses was very kind and made a good impression. However, the woman I spoke to when I called the front desk from my room for an errand was very unhelpful and kept me on hold for about a minute. (I wanted to borrow a clothes drying rack, but she didn't seem to understand what a clothes drying rack was). **Breakfast Venue:** Being able to book in advance via smartphone made it very smooth without having to wait in front of the venue. The wet wipe dispenser had a huge queue. Perhaps individual packaged wet wipes would be a better option? **Drink and Snack Service:** This was very good, but the cocoa and café latte were awful. I had stayed at this facility before it became Grand Mercure. Even with the renovation and cleaner look, the number of elevators hasn't changed, and they were always crowded. Also, signs of aging are visible in various places. My daughter loved the pool, so I might stay here again if she wishes, but please address these issues.

When we arrived, already liked the atmosphere of the lobby- bar-restaurant, which was lively, with nice lighting and the green foliage from the window wall and smell nice too, which is very important. We could early check-in in a corner room and high floor! Our purpose was to leave our bags and was surprised with rooms ready. Our room was spotless, decorated with neutral colours, very comfortable, everything was new. The only thing, the window only opens just a little bit and was hard to close it back and the faucet of the sink was just below the glass shelf and you will hit it every time you turn it on and the room lights had few individual switches, therefore was almost an all lights on or all lights off deal! Another down thing was the flip-flops which weren’t comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, with just the right amount of choices but everything available was really good. The public bath as well, everything was new, clean and with enough number of showers and the bath had the right size, decorated with simple and tasteful colours, the water was delicious. The location of the hotel was very good, just a few minutes walk to the monorail and with convenient shopping around. We enjoyed every minute of our stayed! It was excellent!

Fuku-chan, Nicole and ２ cats, algae balls and boiled beans were gently welcomed, and the number of days of stay passed in no time. It is a very satisfying inn and recommended to everyone. The interior and exterior are very nice. I feel like 〜 I came to the resort. I used the parking lot for renting a car. The living room is clean and comfortable. The bed futon was very fluffy and I could sleep well. The area is very convenient location if you have a car rental. It is very close to Fusaki Beach and you can walk to the beach (passing the main building of Fusaki Beach Resort, especially no procedures). I had breakfast. The dishes that are particular about each ingredient and seasoning will heal your mind and body. We have never experienced it, but we can receive healing treatments and Yoga. It is an inn that I want to visit again.

I stayed here for the first two nights of my Okinawa trip and liked it so much that I extended my stay for another two nights. This short review is about the extended stay. Ms. Yamasato at the front desk helped me with the extension. She was very thoughtful and asked if we'd be okay with the air conditioning being serviced tomorrow afternoon, meaning we couldn't go back to the room for an afternoon nap. I said yes. After we finished the paperwork, Ms. Yamasato was already waiting for us at the elevator to tell us that the AC repair time had changed. I was really touched by her meticulous service. I originally planned to extend for two more nights, but for some reason, the price on Trip.com kept getting higher with each extension. The second extension for the same room was ¥950, including breakfast. So I decided to move to another hotel. My wife also checked the price on Trip.com, and it was ¥660, including breakfast, for the same standard room.

Very good hotel! Location is amazing, surrounded by blue sea, very beautiful. Room is big, clean, and comfortable, with nice view. Staff are friendly and helpful, service is excellent. Breakfast and restaurants have many choices, taste is good. Facilities like pool and spa are high quality. Overall, very satisfied, worth the price. Will come again next time!

The ultimate choice in Okinawa! Stunning beach, caves, and perfect family vibe Our second room was just as wonderful. If you are looking to stay on the main island of Okinawa without taking extra flights to outer islands like Ishigaki, this is hands down the best hotel for a family vacation with kids. What we absolutely loved: * Stunning beach and nature: The beach is perfect and super safe for children. There is an incredibly beautiful, winding path along the shore. The rocky coastline, scenic caves, and lush tropical plants make walking around a magical experience. * A winning hotel chain: We highly recommend combining your trip with their sister property. If you do travel to Ishigaki, stay at ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort—it is easily one of the finest hotels on that island. Both resorts represent the absolute top tier of hospitality. * Flawless service despite flight issues: Our only complaint about the entire trip goes to ANA Airlines, as our return flight to Tokyo was delayed by 8 hours, which was quite exhausting. However, this is strictly an airline issue. It has nothing to do with the hotels themselves and their wonderful, dedicated staff who did an impeccable job. The local Okinawans at the resort are the sweetest and most welcoming people. Between the brilliant service, incredible nature, and great facilities, this was a dream vacation!

This hotel might seem a lot more expensive than other Naha city hotels, but it worth every penny & being one of our best stay in Okinawa. The large room does feel like a suite with the comfy sofa area equipped with a giant TV. We also enjoyed the large modern bathroom. The room deco & amenities are all sophisticatedly design. The hotel dining is top notch, make sure you book with their breakfast please! It turns out to be one of our best hotel breakfast in Japan. Not only they offer chef menu of sashimi rice bowl, the quality of buffet options are crazy, honey dripping from actual honey comb, 3 options of miso from different origins to make your own soup, wide spread of veggies, breads & teas… we skipped lunch after. We also had birthday dinner in “The Long Vocation” restaurant and we were quite impressed by their food & drink and service. We stayed over typhoon, & we were very glad to have chosen to stay in Southwest Grand which offer late check out, indoor pool & good variety of food. The location is gold, the only little issue is they don’t have car park on site and the closest paid one requires 1-2 mins walk outdoor. It maybe a little hectic during some weather condition. Big shout out to the 2 lady staffs who help guests with luggages at the entrance frighting over strong wind & heavy rain, they were amazing! We missed our stay already and do hope to stay at this hotel again when we revisit Naha, hope to able to use their outdoor pool in a better weather. Overall highly highly recommended!

Wonderful hotel with a private beach. Simple breakfast and friendly staff. Got a sea view room in the Annex building. Free parking in Annex with limited lots or across the street a short walk away. Coin laundry available as well as vending machines selling drinks, cigarettes and ice creams. Nearest minimart is 1km away.

The hotel is located in the city center, right next to a sports stadium. The elevated highway nearby can be a bit noisy due to heavy traffic. The hotel has its own parking, but the fee is a bit expensive at 1500 JPY per day. Overall, it offers medium value for money.
