It was a nice experience, it was our first time in Baotou and Shangri La was good choice, nice service and staff and also delicios breakfast and best location

The hotel has a great location and the amenities are quite good, which made getting around very convenient. However, the room itself had some issues. The carpet was very dirty, the room became quite cold at night, and there was an unpleasant smell that affected comfort. With better cleanliness and room conditions, this place could be much better. On the first day of our stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, when we went to the reception, most of the staff did not speak English. However, a lady named Zoe Zhou helped us wholeheartedly and was extremely kind and professional. Sugar was also very helpful, and we are truly grateful to her. We had a lot of luggage and it did not fit into our suitcase, so we asked a male staff member to bring us a box. He not only brought the box but also kindly provided tape as well. His thoughtfulness and willingness to help really impressed us. Overall, the staff’s sincere support and warm attitude made our first day at the hotel very comfortable and memorable. Thank you very much!

Reception is very helpful and extremely welcoming.. Mariott always lives up to its name. It's the only hotel that allows me to change money into smaller change. Room is comfortable and cosy. Worth every single cent. Location is great too. 2 malls are within walking distance.

Beautiful hotel. Very nice and clean. The air conditioning was weak, didn't keep the room cold. The room was big and comfortable beds. The gym facility was too small and limited, they put it at the front of the hotel near the bathroom and lobby, so it is embarrassing to use it and people watch you.... But overall, it is a very nice hotel because it is clean.

My partner and I stayed here during our bicycle travels in China. The hotel was very generous holding a package for us for several months as we traveled from Xinjiang through Mongolia and back to China. They also held our bicycles for a week while we took a hiatus to Datong. The staff were friendly and Mark spoke excellent English and helped us a lot with arranging for taxis or other things that we needed. There are not any restaurants or really other businesses nearby - we needed to taxi into town for anything. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean on our initial stay. The pool was just a few lanes and the gym was pretty sparse, but both exist. The restaurant breakfast buffet was expansive but also expensive. It was better when the hotel was busy and the food turnover higher.

This time I booked this hotel temporarily. I didn’t make an appointment to pick up the plane one day in advance as required. I also made a call with the mentality of trying it out. I didn’t expect the other party to help arrange the driver immediately. The connection was particularly smooth. It was really a surprise. After I lived, The staff was very warm and friendly throughout the whole process, the service was very meticulous and caring. Takeaway can be delivered directly to the room, saving a lot of trouble for yourself. And any demand response is particularly fast, the overall experience is very good, the front desk service is also very warm and thoughtful, people feel very comfortable. There is nothing wrong with hygiene. The room is cleaned quite thoroughly. The bedding floor bathroom is clean. There is no smell in the room. The living is very practical. The smart equipment in the room is quite extra points. The operation is simple and easy. The hardware is very complete and it is very convenient to use. Breakfast was very surprised, there were many local characteristics, the overall atmosphere was very elegant, the environment was quiet and comfortable, the surrounding traffic and travel were also convenient, and it was very worry-free to go out.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Seven Star Hotel – Excellent Stay and Great Breakfast! I stayed for one night and had a really pleasant experience. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. The only thing I missed was a bathrobe to use after showering — and it would be even better if the toilet had an automatic bidet. Other than that, everything was perfect: clean rooms, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Truly a wonderful stay overall!

This was my first time visiting Hohhot and chose the hotel because of convenience of movement, it’s close to the airport as well as the train station. The service was okay even though they couldn’t speak English. The room was nice and clean too but the smell of smoke in the corridors didn’t make it all so pleasant. I really enjoyed the breakfast though and the revolving restaurant was a nice touch. I wouldn’t mind coming back to have a stay when I’m in Hohhot.
