„Great place ! Good for relax . Receive warm welcome from the receptionist and the service staff . The staff picked us up from the carpark and help to check-in. Check-in process fast n smooth ,and serve with ice cream . The staff all are friendly . Room is clean and spacious with the amenities and gym,pool facilities. Like the quietness, spacious and friendly environment. They also provide us with a complimentary breakfast., simple local food. Overall stay is good but the area is still new,not develop yet hence the outside road abit bad, and try not to open the door which the flies will fly in”

„The hotel's location is superb 👍🏻 It's connected to the large mall next door, so everything you need is right there. They even offer free late-night snacks from 11 PM to 12 AM: the unsweetened soy milk is delicious and super smooth (you can add syrup yourself), the black glutinous rice sweet soup isn't too sweet or greasy 👍🏻, and there's also plain congee (with various toppings like shredded pork floss available). It's truly impressive and makes you feel at home. The room is very clean, and the bed is incredibly comfortable for sleeping. At night, it's just a 10-minute walk to the dessert and snack street. Driving to Gaowen Street for bean sprout chicken and local specialties is super close, just a few minutes away 👍🏻 👍🏻. I'll definitely stay at this fantastic Weil Hotel again on my next trip to Ipoh. The hotel facilities are complete and comfortable, and the staff are very enthusiastic ❤️”

„Wonderful experience for a one-night stay at AC Hotel for a quick look around Ipoh Town whilst travelling from Penang back to KL. Checking in was swift. Room was of a good size. Bed and pillows were all good. Aircon was erratic and noisy. One minute it was warm and the next, freezing. We could not adjust the temperature setting. Like it was already pre set. There was only 1 box of toothbrush in the bathroom, even though it was a room for 2. The most annoying part was the shower area whereby when you are showering, you are standing in a pool of soapy water. Even till the next morning, there's still water in the shower area. It wasn't fully drained. Someone should probably check on room 548. Breakfast was just ok. Was somewhat surprised that people would use their bare hands to pick up the bread they were going to slice instead of using tongs or the cloth provided. I do not know whether her hands were clean or dirty, and as such, avoided the bread section.

Same as picture. Room is precious and big, big bathroom with bathtub although the hot water supply is not consistent. Its like a studio type with kitchen , just the microwave bit disgusting. Have balcony, big TV, parking available at the hotel. Driving distance to everywhere. Overall is good.

This was our second stay here. First, a lovely lady at the front desk (apologies, I didn't catch her name tag) provided very attentive and detailed service. She proactively explained many check-in specifics and shared upgrade offers. Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff clearly missed some things and didn't thoroughly check if all in-room amenities were complete. The pillowcases weren't on the pillows, the conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom were empty, and there was only one tissue left in the box. When I called the front desk for these supplies, some were still missing when they were delivered. Hilton is a well-known upscale international hotel, and such oversights really shouldn't happen. I hope to see improvement on our next visit.

The room facilities were old and the soundproofing was poor. The gap under the door was quite large; after turning off the lights, the light coming through the door gap was bright enough to serve as a nightlight. The toilet in the room was faulty; it wouldn't stop flushing immediately and would automatically refill after emptying, which was a bit noisy. The location was decent, with plenty of food options and the night market not far away. The Chinese-American lady who checked me in provided excellent service.

Just a few hundred meters from the hotel, there's a 'Changjiang White Coffee' shop open during the day. Across from it, there's a Chinese restaurant that's open for dinner – a perfect combination. If you don't want to venture far, these two places have you covered, and the food is delicious too.

The overall experience from checked in and the conversation with the support is good. Information given is sufficient too. I didn’t park at multi storey car park, end up just to pay extra parking at visitor parking and no need to round up to multi storey car park. Only aircond at living hall need to improve the cold, seem not cold even on for few hours. The rest are good. Sofa got some dirt with the dust and some biscuits. Not well clean. Definitely will recommend to friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunway Onsen Apartments. The check-in registration was smooth and hassle-free—the security guards were very familiar with the process and extremely helpful throughout. What We Loved: 1. Fantastic Views: We stayed in a corner lot unit that offered an amazing 180-degree view. We had direct views of the Lost World of Tambun on one side and Ipoh town on the right. 2. Comfort & Cleanliness: The apartment was overall very clean, tidy, and comfortable for our family stay. Areas for Improvement: 2. Air Conditioning: The air conditioning units took a bit longer than expected to cool down the space. 2. Bathroom Detailing: While the main areas were tidy, the bathroom floor could use a bit more thorough scrubbing to clear up minor dirt build-up. 3. Amenities & Towels: It would be great to have extra towels provided, especially for family groups. Suggestions for the Host: 1. Cleaning Tools: Adding a broom in the unit would be very helpful so guests can quickly sweep up small daily messes. 2. Trash Bins: Providing a larger trash bin (or extra plastic trash bags) would make waste disposal much easier for families staying multiple days. Overall, a lovely property with great accessibility to Tambun. We would gladly stay here again!

I only stayed one day in Ipoh as a stopover. This hotel isn't in the city center, and it's not particularly close to the train station either. However, there are some other small shops within the same building, which makes for a decent collection. The environment is pretty good; it has an industrial design, but it doesn't look run-down. The room was small, but it matched the price. The first room we were given had a connecting door to the next room, so we asked to switch, and the front desk lady cheerfully changed it for us. There's a gym with treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and some strength training equipment. Not many people seemed to use the gym, but the environment was nice and air-conditioned. I worked out for an hour and felt great afterwards.
