Travel Diary: Discovering Nyuto Onsen Village This trip started out as a simple decision—just seeing pictures of the beautiful onsen and the hotel's breakfast and dinner package! It was such a compelling decision that I didn't even bother researching the location. What surprised me most was finding my hotel near Nyuto Onsen Village, a famous historic hot spring village, with a clear view of Lake Tazawako. I spent time exploring the village's seven onsens, each with its own unique charm and hot spring qualities, making this trip even more rewarding than I had anticipated. Upcoming Itineraries: I've already made up my mind that on my next trip, I'll book a hotel during a heavy snowfall so I can soak in Tsurunoyu Onsen. The sight of the outdoor baths in the snow is absolutely captivating. Hotel i pokoje są stare, ale nadal ładne. Direct Lake View jest świetny. Niestety hotel jest orientowany na zysk zamiast orientowany na klienta. Być skupionym na klientach i zysk będzie.... Outside onsen jest podstawowy, ale z miłym widokiem. Wszystko jest zawyżone! (Ustaw kolację 11 000 jen !! Wybierz proszę! Możesz albo uaktualnić i zapytać o te ceny najwyższe, albo zostawić wszystko w tym bardzo starym stanie, ale nie oczekuj, że ludzie zapłacą te stawki... Ponadto muzyka w korytarzu jest zbyt głośna. Obudzi się wszyscy wokół 6AM.... Tylko hotel, gdzie nie było salonu szczęśliwej godziny z darmowymi napojami i przekąskami....

The paid parking is conveniently located right next to the hotel, and there is a 7-Eleven convenience store on the ground floor, which is very convenient. The hot spring is spacious and Korean-style, and it comes with a sauna room and a cold bath. There are three washing machines each in the men’s and women’s hot spring areas. Guests can also enjoy free massage chairs and complimentary ice pops (ice cream) after the bath.

The location was fantastic, connected directly to the station, bus interchange and shopping malls. The room was probably the biggest I have stayed at in Japan, which was great when sharing with a friend. The tatami sitting area was great to sit in and enjoy the station view, with the trains coming and going. Was not disturbed by any train noise however. They also gave a sheet noting the times you can view specific train models from your room window. Staff were friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier. Would stay here again next time I'm in Akita.

We stayed two nights. It was a great experience. Room itself is good, bed is comfortable. Got onsen and free half portion of ramen and rice after 7:30pm, which is a bonus. Ramen is delicious. However, service for a part-time staff (a girl) was bad! This is the first time we experienced such bad service in Japan. First, her greeting was mean and rude, with no smile on her face and kind of ignoring the customer. Second, after we got the room key and get ready to take the elevator, we didn't know the way. She just kept ignoring us which a normal staff would show you the way to the elevator right after finished check-in. Lastly, after we entered into the room, we found out that the toilet seat was loosen. So we went down to the lobby to tell her about these. She was so unhelpful that she did not even want to come up to our room to see what happen, but just tild us to use the toilet in the lobby instead! At the end, luckily there was another senior full time staff just on duty, we told him about this, and he immediately went up to our room to see what happen. Will give this senior staff a 5 star. So other than that part-time staff (girl), all were pretty good.

The hotel has a very good location. Although not immediately next to the JR station, it's a short and easy walk to get to the hotel from Akita Station. When you see the Museum of Art in the photo, you are arriving. Also, the famous Senshū Park is just across from the street. It's a grand hotel with nice rooms. The staff are friendly and professional. It's not far from the bar district. There are many interesting bars over there. After a couple of drinks, you can just walk back to the hotel.

I enjoyed the moment while staying here a lot, the price is so cheap compared to what I got, big room, dinner and breakfast, private bath and public bath access. I believe if you enjoy drinking Sake you will love the bar

This hotel is right next to a underground rock concert shop. It has frequent tenants who played there or attend the concerts there. If you are driving , you won’t be able to get their parking slots as it mostly reserved for the regulars. The nearby parking lots charges 400 Y from 4pm-8am so if you arrive shortly after check in time and decide to head out early the next day, you may use the 2 carparks that is right beside the hotel. If you can’t make it in time, the hotel cheapest parking option is behind Lawson where they have monthly season parking lots. It’s 600 yen per night from 3pm to 10am. room wise, price to value is below average probably becos of high demand in the vicinity. As for cleanliness, can be better improve. My aircon filter and air filter machine was producing really moldy and smell air , probably from previous guests who sweated in the room. Was a big turn off lucky I came during autumn, can just open the window to get cold air in.

大変お気に入りの宿です。駅から少し距離がありますが、徒歩で25分程度ですし、送迎バスもあり、アクセスには問題はありません。朝食は手作り感満載でとても美味しかったです。部屋も居心地がよくて快適に過ごせました。今度また利用したいです。
