Hot springs are nice and relaxing. The inner decor in lobby is really special. Although it’s a rather old hotel but the condition is overall well-maintained.
I'm very satisfied with the hotel. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the public bath was also great. For the private onsen, I recommend the Keifutang (seasonal wind bath), especially for families with two or more people. The Sakuramiyu private onsen seems to be more for single use, and if you're staying in a villa, you probably don't need to bother with it.
Overall, both the regular rooms and villas have the beds located on the second floor, so you'll need to use stairs to access them. In the villas, the bathroom is only on the first floor, which might be a bit inconvenient.
One of the few tall buildings in the town, equipped with rooftop indoor and outdoor onsen. Walkable distance to places around town.
The hotel is renovating, but no disturbances from that, and I’m certain that after it finished, it will be great. Good facilities and hospitality. If I’m go back to the town, I would stay here again.
Beautiful ryokan, excellent service, exceptional food. Nice and relaxing onsen both indoor and outdoor. Ryokan also provides shuttle service to the station.
The female dorm has a security entrance, so I felt safe staying here.
There is a shopping area just behind the hotel, and lots of eateries available. The Kumamoto castle is also within walking distance.
The washroom's cleanliness and amenities are tip top. There are no complaints. There is also a washing machine and dryer which is convenient if you need to do some laundry during your travels.
There is also a female bath but I didn't have time so I have no comments on that.
There was also a rest area for dining which is good for people who wants to eat take-away or convenience store foods. There is a hot water provider and microwave, but there was no drinking water supply. (I guess you'll need to buy bottled water, which in this case, there are several vending machines within the premise)
It is right next to the road so you will get traffic lights shining into your window at night but you have curtains to cover that. The stairways is steep so be careful. It is also tricky to open the key box, don't worry, it definitely can be opened. There is shower on the lower floor and I am quite lucky to be the only guest staying for a few nights, I can't imagine if it gets busy. The kitchen tools are in the bottom cabinet. It is quite accessible to explore the town and nearby areas.

SSongxianghongVery good, ideal accommodation for backpackers. One person has a separate room, Room A, which is large enough and clean. Although you can hear people talking next door, it does not prevent you from sleeping soundly. Although the stairs upstairs (2nd floor) are a bit steep, you only go up and down once a day. Check in according to the information provided by the email. If you are not an experienced backpacker or have poor work ability, you should contact the administrator in advance. The location is also very good, about 1.4 kilometers from the station, and instant coffee is provided. The only drawback is that there is no refrigerator. If you go to Saga, you will stay at this hotel again.

Delightful and unique! Easy to find, with a warm welcome and a lovely, nostalgic vibe. The private onsen with wonderful water was a highlight. Our renovated room was beautifully appointed, with a private bath and lovely details. We also savored a spectacular feast of Saga beef and other fine traditional meals. The staff's genuine kindness, including arranging a special gift, was much appreciated. Highly recommend!
WwchisatowThis unique, unmanned hotel is located in front of Saga Station. The rooms are equipped with Aladdin and microwave ovens. You can even see Saga Station from the rooms!
GGuest UserIt was a very clean and comfortable night. The front desk staff was perfect when we checked in, but there was no ”thank you” when we checked out. Also, when processing with headquarters and the owner, there seemed to be some language differences and problems with communication. The facilities were perfect, so if they could improve their response measures in case of trouble, we can expect further growth. We wish your company continued success.
GGuest UserDespite my sudden request, they were very kind and responded without any complaints. The squid was served as sashimi, tentacle tempura or grilled with salt, and it was really delicious♪ The staff were also very nice. Thank you very much.
AAnonymous UserJapanese style, no reception at the front desk, look at luck, anyway, we have waited for a long time, remember to check out at 10:00am, otherwise it will be charged at 1,000 yen per person, the hotel is in a good location, very close to the station
