„i saw many positive reviews and was excited to see if it was reality... Simply put, its worth visiting Luoyang just to stay at May Fourth Youth Hostel. The level of cleanliness, amicability, overall positive yet low-key ambience should be the standard across the country. From the music choice in the lobby to the staff who run it, It's clear it has been designed and is run by people who really understand what it means to be a traveller and what makes a good hotel. The rooms are spacious (sometimes hostels can feel claustophobic - but not here), with beds having more space than typical, good quality pillow and duvets. Suited for both travellers from the east and west, there are seated and squat toilets, with a large array of showers. The washing machine is great (if they had a couple of good Dryers too that would be amazing), as well as the communal rooms with vending machines, pool table, and seating area (including the lovely quiet library space) The location is decent too, a spacious cultural park is nearby with the hostel itself tucked away from the main street, creating convinience but not crowds. The price is perfect! ideal for young people, students and solo travellers visiting on a budget. My friend decided to stay here two more days just because of the comfort and facilities. As both a foreigner and a woman, i felt safe and welcome here so i reccommend friends from abroad to come check this place out. Possibly the best youth hostel i've had the pleasure of staying in oh also the little cat is so cute !”

„Really sweet hostel (Clean, cosy and lovingly furnished), super friendly staff and good vibes! I stayed there sadly just for one night, but we were instant connected and in interesting talkings with the owner, staff and other guests on the sweet balcony - an oasis of plants, smooth light and cosy chairs in the middle of skyscrapers! Will not be my last time to stay there! Greetings from Germany 😏🖖”

„Location is wonderful, close to everything but als slightly o away from center so you do not get the noises. In just a few steps you get to have fantastic foods at night market. The place is nice and cozy, also quiet at night. Host is helpful, friendly and definitely extrovert, they organize games and activities regularly to connect everyone together. Definitely will stay here again if chances come by.”

„Hygiene: Both the public areas and the rooms were very clean. Facilities: The facilities are very new and have everything you'd expect. There's even a dedicated vanity area in the women's restroom, which is very comprehensive. Service: The service was excellent. Someone in our original room had been eating something with a strong smell, and they immediately switched our room for us. The staff's attitude was fantastic.”

„Great hostel that provided a great base to explore Kaifeng. It’s nice and central to the Drum Tower market. There are nice public spaces. The dorm bed was very wide and very comfortable. The staff in particular were super. They were friendly and so helpful. They even allowed me to check in much earlier than I was meant to according to their rules - how kind of them. When I left one of them gave me a souvenir of some Kaifeng chrysanthemum tea to take with me. What lovely staff!”

„The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the old town. It's just a few minutes' walk to Luoyi Old City and Shizi Street, with snack bars and supermarkets all along the street. Getting to various attractions by bus is also very convenient. The place has its own small courtyard filled with greenery. The moment you step in, the hustle and bustle of the street outside fades away, and it becomes instantly quiet. There are tables and chairs in the lobby too, making it a super comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the breeze. All the necessary amenities are provided. Each bed has a locker with a lock and a charging port, so you can safely store your personal belongings. Hot water is available 24/7, and the air conditioning works perfectly for both cooling and heating. Downstairs, there's a washing machine for laundry and a small kitchen where you can heat up snacks you've bought. The lobby also has board games, so you can play with other guests if you're bored. The owner is really great and very easygoing. Check-in and check-out are quick. If you ask about places to visit or good local snacks, they'll give you detailed and practical recommendations. Any small issues are promptly resolved by the owner, without any fuss, making for a very comfortable stay. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness. Rooms, the courtyard, and corridors are cleaned daily. Bedding is always fresh, and bathrooms are regularly cleaned with no strange odors. The washbasin is consistently spotless, making the overall stay pleasant. Most guests are young travelers, creating a very relaxed atmosphere. If you're introverted, you can perfectly enjoy some quiet time in the courtyard. If you feel like chatting, you can easily strike up conversations with other guests in the lobby; everyone is friendly and approachable, so it's never awkward. Overall, my stay was excellent. It's conveniently located, clean, well-equipped, the owner is welcoming, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the price is very reasonable. It's a perfect choice for solo travelers or friends visiting Luoyang. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Luoyang.”

„第一次來洛陽玩，隨便找的全女青旅，沒想到超出預期。位置在十字街這邊，離玩的地方不算遠，打車也方便。房間很乾凈，床品摸着舒服，沒有奇怪的味道。每個床位都有簾子、小燈和充電口，晚上玩手機也不影響別人。公共區域很安靜，大家都很自覺，不會吵。衞生間每天都有人打掃，熱水很足。老闆人挺好，問路線都耐心説，不會過度熱情，很舒服。學生黨價格真的友好，下次來還住這兒。”
