Hostels w: Jilin, China

A nice guesthouse run by an elderly couple. We stayed twice for one night while waiting for a connecting flight. It's a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. The room is small, but everything is clean and tidy, with fresh linens. You can leave your luggage after checkout, and we spent some time exploring the city before our return flight. We checked in quite late because our flight arrived late, but that wasn't a problem. The only inconvenience was that the cafes within walking distance of the hotel close early in the evening.

This hostel is fantastic! The owner is super warm and easygoing. They'll give you tips for local attractions and even check if the AC temperature is comfortable – really thoughtful and detail-oriented service. The beds are very comfy, and the bathrooms are clean. Each room has its own private bathroom, so no waiting around, which makes for a great experience. The common area is so cozy! Some people chat, others play guitar. I was pretty tired from my travels, so I stayed in my room resting for all three days and didn't really socialize in the common area. But honestly, whether you're an introvert or an extrovert, you'll find a relaxed and comfortable vibe here. If you're looking for a hostel in Changchun, this is an excellent choice!

Clean. Basic facilities. The single room is indeed as shown in the ad picture, with a low sloping ceiling (be careful of your head). The heating in the room is good winter. The mattress is a little too thin though. The supermarket behind the hostel has a variety of fresh fruits. There are many eateries within walking distance. Most of the supposedly scenic spots (wetland/ park etc) are all covered with ice during my visit.

This is a very good hotel. The girl at the reception is very nice and kind. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Even despite the fact that there is no elevator, it did not cause us inconvenience. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed, soft pillows. The bathroom is divided into dry and wet areas. The room has a large wardrobe and many drawers for storage. The location of the hotel is in a convenient location. There is a bus stop nearby, many cafes and restaurants. Shopping centers are 10 minutes walk away. My daughter and I liked this hotel, I would like to come back again.

The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. The airport pick-up and drop-off are very punctual. The appearance of the homestay is not very good, but the house is very nice. It is enough to hike around the homestay for a whole day. There is a zoo and a place for snow entertainment within a few hundred meters. You can also hike in the forest

I give it full marks for everything else, but the last-minute room change was quite frustrating. After getting off the train, taking the subway, and walking, the room I'd booked was sold out. While the change was reasonable, it's important to enjoy the trip in comfort. Considering all factors, wouldn't it have been better to book a room closer to the station? Sorry for the poor service rating.

The room facilities were new and clean, the service was very warm and friendly, and the price was reasonable. It was the most satisfying hotel I've ever stayed at while traveling. There's a market and restaurants downstairs, and the high-speed rail station is just 1000 meters away. Five stars!

I booked a stay here for several days based on recommendations from netizens. I was a bit hesitant at first because it looked like a single-story Korean-style bungalow from the outside. Upon entering, there's a large common area, and two front desk staff members are always on rotation (one looks like the actor Ci Sha, the other is a pure boy-next-door type). After checking in and getting my room card, I could go to my room. All toiletries here need to be purchased, or you can bring your own if you prefer not to buy them. I stayed in an 8-person dorm on the second floor, and the room was like a university dorm with excellent air conditioning. Even in such hot weather, it was very comfortable just staying in the room and doing nothing. During my stay, most people were quite considerate, except for a few who snored or packed their luggage at night – something easily solved by bringing earplugs. For showering, there are three individual cubicles for women, each like a fitting room with three hooks and a curtain to keep water out. The restrooms, however, are shared by men and women, with many stalls lined up in two rows (I personally didn't smell any odors during my stay). Using the hair dryer is not recommended after 10 PM. For those who want to eat, you can use the common area on the first floor. There's also a calico cat adopted by the hotel, and a large TV for watching movies and shows. Regarding transportation, it's a 2-minute walk to the bus stop, and less than 10 minutes to Xishi Market, making it a very advantageous location. It's also quiet at night, with no noisy environment. The value for money is outstanding!

The house is OK, the location is good, it's right in the pedestrian street, there are many food shops around, shopping is also very convenient, many international friends live here, you can choose

The most challenging aspect of traveling as a family of three is booking a hotel – finding a triple room that's also conveniently located. We chose Four Seasons Inn after seeing many guest recommendations. The room featured a traditional Northeastern Chinese kang (heated brick bed), our first time experiencing one. In mid-to-late August, the mountain air was already a bit chilly, but the kang's thick, warm mattress and tightly tucked blankets kept us cozy all night. My family also commented that sleeping on the kang was quite comfortable; its firmness was gentle on the back. The hotel's most unique feature is that it's directly opposite the West Scenic Area ticket gate – amazing! Just a fence separating them; exiting the hotel leads directly to the ticket queue. Those buying breakfast tickets can sleep in a bit longer. Dining options are very convenient near the hotel; there are restaurants all around.
