„The hotel is newly renovated, with comfortable bedding and a spacious bed. The room and windowsill were a bit messy with my roommate's belongings. The bathroom, toilet, and sink areas are separate, but the trash can was full at night, and there were some personal items left on the bathroom floors from previous guests. At check-in, the front desk provided a disposable toiletries kit and slippers, which was great. However, aside from asking us to put on the three-piece bedding set upon arrival and remove it upon departure, they didn't mention any other important information or the Wi-Fi password. We had to figure everything out ourselves.”

„중국 기차 여행 중 심양에 잠시 머무르게 되어 선양북역에서 가깝고 저렴한 곳인 이곳으로 예약하게 되었습니다. 숙소가 아파트 21층에 있어 들어가기 위해서는 직원분이 필요하니 꼭 오기전에 미리 사장님과 연락하세요. 저는 중국 번호가 없어 전화가 불가능해 위챗으로 미리 연락하고 갔습니다. 주방이 있어 요리할 수 있어요. 헤어드라이기와 슬리퍼 제공됩니다. 귀엽고 소심한 강아지도 있어요.”

„The owner is a well travelled young chap whom has a great sense of humour, he cares alot about the cleanliness, always ready to help and holds conversation well. The hostel is in a residential area, but in a strategic location, you can easily travel to the popular attraction. There's also alot of good foods around. The place is well equipped with one time use kits which most traveller will need. People with bad legs or lots of heavy luggage might have to reconsider due to the lack of elevator. Conclusion: Excellent, will stay again if I'm traveling solo.”

„It is a good hostel but there is a lot of smokers so the smell is pretty inconvenient in the common areas. It was a walkable distance from the Russian Street and also close from the ocean. The rooms are good with good beds and AC. There is not much space to put your stuff away but goof enough for short stays.”

„They kindly guided me, and although I stayed here because it was Labor Day and accommodation rates were three times higher than usual, it was the best value for money. I was flustered when I had to leave early in the morning for my train because there was no one in the lobby, but I managed to open the door and get out without any issues. Since there was a language barrier, I was a bit confused about using the facilities, but I recommend asking questions and getting help to use them. For women, there are bathing facilities and a sauna in the basement, and a lounge on the second floor where you can use a water dispenser and refrigerator. They even gave me a cute astronaut keyring when I checked out, so it will be a great memento! Thank you.”

„This is a warm and cozy hostel with a bar and pool table. Along the staircase there are pieces of artwork for you to pause and appreciate. There are also two cuddly cats to keep you company late an night if you prefer to spend time in the common area. The microwave is a life saver on those mornings during which you have to head out super early. Apart from the subway station which is a five minute walk from the hostel, there is actually a bus stop right in front with public buses taking you directly (no luggage scans! No line transfers!) to the People’s Square, Zhongshan Square, Russian Village and even the airport.”

„I had a nice time in Lazy Bill's Hostel. The check-in counter staff were very patient even though we were communicating via a Translation app and even though I don't have a local number from a Chinese mobile network. Also, the coffee shop was located just inside the hostel and it was very convenient! The coffee was delicious. The staff were very serious when it comes to cleanliness. They cleaned the room where I stayed and they mop the room and clean the rest room every day. I could not say anything more. Will I stay here again? Definitely yes! They have a mini-convenience store inside the hostel for booze, juices and water. There were restaurants and bath houses in the area. There was also a nearby KFC! The only thing that had me worried was on my way back home because the station didn't have an escalator going down. I met a Chinese traveler of Korean descent and a local Chinese who speaks English. They were very kind. I wish to come back to Dalian and stay in Lazy Bill's Hostel once again.”

„Great hostel, great bar, great experience ! The hostel itself is very clean due to the lovely cleaning lady. It has a small kitchen and washing machine which is super useful. The bar has a good atmosphere with some nice craft beer too, as well as some events on certain nights. Oh and the cute cats make the hostel that much better!!!”

„A small and humble hostel. There is a paid washing machine (7-8 yuan) and areas to hang the laundry, though the wind is so strong it’ll probably drop to the ground soon after. Wifi is available as well. Note that toilets are standing. I recommend bringing your own shower toiletries; while it provides shampoo and shower gel, there it is diluted and a weird smell comes out of them. Officially a non smoking policy but some guests disregard the policy.”
