I extended my stay in Room 326 and the 6 electrical wall plugs in the room were not working from 26th December until I checked out on the 28th. The front desk personell worked it out from the main switchboard on the evening of the 26th, but it was out again in the early morning of the 27th. Room lights were working well accept for the power outlets. Unreliable service. I had to lie by the main door to use the corridor electrical wall plugs.

I had a great stay at this hostel in Wellington! The location is perfect, just a short walk to all the main sights and very close to Cuba Street, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The hostel itself was spotless, and I really appreciated the free towel provided.
The kitchen was clean and well-equipped, with thoughtful extras like free coffee, tea, oil and herbs for cooking, which made preparing meals much easier. The dorms were spacious and the beds where very comfortable.
What really stood out were the little touches: free yoga sessions and cozy lounges that made it easy to unwind and meet other travelers. Overall, a welcoming, clean and comfortable place to stay in the heart of Wellington. Highly recommend!

The hostel is good. Beds are really comfortable, with curtains. I was in a 4 bed shared room for one week, it was perfect and I was alone in the room 3 nights !
The kitchen is well equipped, I met some people too. And there is a supermarket right in front of the hostel so it's cool
Windows needs to be repaired bc you can't close them completely, some air can still pass and I was right above the ventilation system of a restaurant, so it was noisy because I couldn't close the farm completely (room 614)

Very friendly staff, super helpful, seem like they really care about the people staying.
The bedroom we stayed in was really nice, the bed was super comfy.
Would stay again, in fact, we intend to re book soon!

刘刘Hotel location is very good, in the center of Wellington, the parking lot is on the upper floor, to go up a steep slope, parking fee 15 NZ / day. The interior decoration is a bit antique and has a sense of history. The downside is that I arrived at the hotel on Christmas Eve, and the front desk was closed (should be at 7 pm), saying that I sent an email to me, but I didn't find it in fact. Still the cleaning guy, contacted me, opened the key box, and got the key.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse in Wellington is conveniently located near the waterfront, directly opposite the train station, and close to the city center. It's also very near the Parliament building, so the location is excellent. The guesthouse rooms are suites, featuring one shared bathroom and two bedrooms. There's a sofa at the front desk where guests can relax and use the internet.

Mmegan152perfect for solo travellers & located in the center of the city. to get to my room, I did have to open 10 doors just to go back to my room from the entrance. kitchen is well eqquiped & the toilet was always clean!

GGuest UserA nice clean big room which I would’ve enjoyed more if the room didn’t smell like wet dog. I didmt complain or ask for a different room. So my bad. I was only there for 1 night. And I bought an air freshener from the shop. It didn’t help sadly. Or having the windows open or the fan on. The room had potential otherwise. The bed was comfy, the shower was great. There was a little kitchenette also. It was just a shame it smelled bad.

GGuest UserWe absolutely loved our stay (15/04/2026 – 17/04/2026)! It started with such a warm, helpful welcome at reception and only got better from there. The rooms are huge and fully equipped—having a kitchen was a total lifesaver since we prefer home-cooked meals over eating out. Thank you for a wonderful experience; we highly recommend it.
