Facilities: The building seems a bit old, but it has everything you need. There's an elevator (the buttons are quite retro 🔘).
The common areas and kitchen are very spacious, with all sorts of cooking utensils. There's a hot water kettle for hot drinks, instant soup, or instant noodles.
Each bed has its own curtain, a small night light, and a shelf, offering a good degree of personal space. That's a plus.
Cleanliness: Relatively good.
Environment: I arrived at night so I didn't see the outside courtyard, but the interior is very spacious and well-zoned. It seems like there are many activities during the day, and the rooms aren't cold at all.
Service: The front desk staff were friendly.

老式樓房 沒有電梯 旅館位於頂部 要爬五十九級台階到前台 工作人員也會熱心幫提箱子上樓～
房間是大平層分割出來的小間 大概近三平米 箱子衹能放床下～小間的頂是鏤空的 便於透氣 幾乎沒有隔音功能 有點像香港的籠屋 一個人説話 幾乎所有房間裏都能聽到～所以旅館方面會反覆強調保持安靜～提供免費飲用水 有微波爐冰箱可用～
早餐有牛奶麪包黃油咖啡果汁蛋糕麥片水果豆漿等～
旅館背景應該是尼泊爾印度教 強調素食 不允許任何肉類進入旅館 雞蛋也不可以～

Niedawno zatrzymałem się w West Side YMCA i stwierdziłem, że to świetna, budżetowa opcja w dogodnej lokalizacji. Pokoje były czyste i proste, z podstawowymi udogodnieniami, które odpowiadały moim potrzebom podczas krótkiego pobytu. Personel był przyjazny i pomocny, a pomieszczenia wspólne były zadbane. To idealne miejsce, jeśli szukasz niedrogiego noclegu w mieście bez luksusowych dodatków. Lokalizacja była doskonała, blisko Central Parku i stacji metra!
Tym razem zostałem tylko jedną noc, więc zostałem tylko na sen, więc po raz pierwszy wybrałem ten hostel.
Trochę martwiłem się zapachem na zewnątrz pokoju, ale byłem bardzo wdzięczny, że druga osoba w pokoju dwuosobowym była Japończykiem!!

Myślałem, że to naprawdę relaksujące miejsce. Zatrzymałem się tu na prawie miesiąc, począwszy od 5 czerwca, i było to bardzo wygodne, ponieważ w pobliżu znajdowały się restauracje, targi i sklepy ogólnospożywcze, a także krótki spacer do Central Parku. Tak, lokalizacja jest dobra. W końcu jest tam bezpiecznie, a na każdym piętrze jest kolejka, więc można poczuć się jak w małym Sure House. Chciałbym go użyć ponownie.
Pracownicy byli również mili. Drzwi wejściowe są również wyposażone w drzwi antywłamaniowe, które zapewniają spokój ducha. Poczułam się bezpiecznie dzięki drzwiom antywłamaniowym, które zapobiegają łatwemu wtargnięciu z zewnątrz.

Halloween heaven! Loved this place! So easy to navigate from the airport on the metro. Easy check in and nice dorm rooms.
Downstairs kitchen and social area was enormous, lacked a bit of atmosphere but that’s the post covid population I guess?! Lots of local food markets/ grocers to pick up things for dinner or a packed lunch. Hudson food market was my saviour. Lively deli items, pantry items, liquor and a fantastic coffee in the morning when I was heading out for a full day!

Zarezerwowałem pokój wyłącznie dla mężczyzn, ale w pokoju, do którego mi zaprowadzono, były kobiety. Należy pamiętać, że jedynym gniazdem do ładowania jest port USB.

AAikapatWell, i understand that this is one is one of the most affordable accommodation in a prime location so the price is not cheap; however, i believe the room condition could be better
1. I found trace of glass shard in the room floor
2. The bathroom and toilet facility are quite small compared to room quantity
3. The bed condition is really bad and totally loosen

GGuest UserThis is a no friils, basic motel. If you're trying to save money on your lodging while traveling to New York City & surrounding areas, this is a great place to stay to save money. The motel is close to various local amenities as well as the Metro North train station. Taking the train will bring you to Grand Central Station in heart of NYC - Manhattan, in 30 minutes. I found the room, bed, linens and the bathroom to all be clean. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, mini drip style coffee maker, TV and a small desk. The bathroom had clean towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Though it was a bit cramped. The stand-up shower was great with good water pressure and plentiful hot water. There is parking in front of each room and it was fairly quiet. Again, this is a budget motel. So if you're not looking for anything fancy, I would recommend this place. Can't beat the price for being so close to NYC.

GGuest UserI thought it was a really relaxing place. Since June 5th, I have stayed several times in a row. I stayed for almost a month, but it is very convenient because there are restaurants, a market, and a convenience store nearby. Good location. After all, it's safe and secure, and it feels like a little sure house with a round on each floor. I want to use it again.
The staff were all very kind. The front door is also safe with a security door. I was relieved with a security door that could not be easily invaded from the outside.

GGuest UserStaff were very welcoming and supportive, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a cheaper place to stay in Upper West Manhattan.
One thing the beds could use is curtains, for privacy, and chargers, bunks like the latest Hostel International designs. I stayed in the private room during the week, so I'm not sure what the larger dorms are like.

Amazing
RRolandJosh was a very friendly host. Checkin/Checkout was a breeze. As was the swimming pool. Large (for a motel), perfect for a proper swim and relaxation after a long drive.
The room was decent. Yes, it's old school, and the bed is on the very soft side (if you prefer more firm beds, you might not like it), but it was clean, and all worked as it should.
The shower head is fantastic. If you like a perfect water pressure, you'll love to refresh here.
There is a petrol station nearby, as well as a local diner. For more than that, you'll have to drive to one of the nearby villages (5-10min drive)
tl;dr: All great, would stay again. Bed mattress is very soft.

GGuest UserThis hotel appears to have recently refurbished its rooms. Everything in the room and bathroom was new looking and clean. We had a king bed, which was nice but did not give much room on the sides, but it was adequate. The breakfast was very simple: 2 dry cereal choices, some package oatmeal, breads and small muffins, 2 juices, milk. Unfortunately the 'dining area' is in the reception area and only has 3 tables, despite many more rooms. It would have been nice to have a picnic bench or two outside for people to sit and chat or have breakfast. But the price was right and the rooms good. Surrounding hotels were trying to charge $300 and above.

BBENGWe check-in very late around 4:00am due to our late flight and 1 missing piece of luggage. Got our room promptly, but the bath tub was choke and dirty. Tried to change our room, but was told that there was no other available room, but they sent someone to fix it in the morning.
The hotel is pretty basic, more for people with own transport.
Location wise, there is not much around the area, but we found Denny's within walking distance. There are a couple of other eating places as well, though we didn't try them.
