Bellevue Parkhotel & Spa

Our family of 4 had a nice family room, a balcony with a great view. My husband and I had a small room but it was quite comfortable. Lots of storage space, good sized bathroom , comfortable bed and pillows, heating regulated by us, perfect house keeping. The buffet breakfast was perfect , eggs made to order, lots of choices of coffees, teas and juices ( even carrot juice and a smoothie). While we only had one dinner there, it was very good. They even suggested that they could prepare whatever for our vegetarian family. The spa was good with 3 saunas ( although 2 were not warm enough. (They will look into that), and 2 perfect steam rooms. The indoor pool was a good size, the outdoor one, salty and warm was fine with a beautiful view. Lots of resting places as well. The fitness was adequate and the machines easy to manage. Dried and fresh fruits, nuts and tea were available as well as cakes in the afternoon. The staff was very helpful and friendly. All in all, we spent an excellent 3 nights, and already reserved some nights next year.

This was my second time in this Hotel, and again We loved it. This hotel is amazing. We live the home furnishing details, the nice design, fantastic use of materials, cosy, modern and contemporary. The Rooms are fantastic in every detail, nice furniture, good beds, and amazing views on Adelboden and surrounding. The staff i very friendly and helpful in everything. They very much appreciated we visit them again. The halfboard is in one word “excellent” every day the menu de jour gives many dishes to choose from. A very nice spa, swimming pool and outdoor salt water pool 34c nice and warm to enjoy the view. Several saunas and rest areas. We had a fantastic stay and will come back definitely.

I called the night before my arrival and was told that I would have to walk from the bus station to the hotel. It was not easy as uphill and I had two bags. When i arrived ( rather hot amd bothered), the receptionists said I should have called them to pick me up! Once checked in, I called reception three times and room service (there is no mini bar) and no k e picked up. I was told the phone system was not working (although they did get it operating). Electric sockets in hotel were not standard and required an special adapter/extension cord that I had to acquire about. It worked at the beginning, but could not charge my iphone in the morning. Service at Breakfast table was utilitarain..never asked if I wanted a hot dish. Had the hotel drive me back to train station, but had carry my bags down a flight of stairs and to the car, as the driver walked in front of me. Otherwise, the service was efficient, but certainly not friendly. I will go elsewhere next time

Wow what a country, village and hotel! Booked to stay elsewhere pre covid which was booked and the BV was recommended. It was a luxurious high quality stay and we couldn’t fault it. Its a very traditional Swiss offering, the rooms were stunning and the food exceptional. Adelboden is so special we absolutely fell in love.

We stayed at the Bellevue Parkhotel & Spa for a week to use as a base for hiking. The hiking in Adelboden is fantastic and if you go in June, you'll see all the wildflowers. The hotel was simply perfect. Our room (411) was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We did half-board and were delighted with the meals--the Chef is very inspired and each night, we cleaned our plates. The views from the dining room were jaw-dropping. We enjoyed the pool and spa area too. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back!

Excetionally designer hotel with furniture in 1970ies style with high-end dining and wines. The spa area is spatious and has different kinds of saunas. The Finnish sauna has a wonderful view on Mount Lohner: what a panorama!

Rather a disappointment compared to a year ago. In my point of view not a a 4 star hotel. The Check in was short and not very welcoming. I missed the sentence: “ Did you have a good journey? Welcome back to our hotel. Instead after a long wait,” Here is your key, the room is on the right side of the building. The room wasn’t ready till 15:30 although check in is 15:00 We booked a classic junior suite which was in a poor state. The room is small, shabby carpet, horrible mauve sofa and every piece of furniture had a piece or two missing. The bathroom was worn out, had a whole in the wood in the window frame and the shower was missing a tile. The previous year we stayed in a privilege Suite which was in a much better condition. Although here the bathrooms are very dark and the shower leaked. As a repeater we expect a better table. The food was not of the same standard than last year. There is no choice between fish or meat for the main course, there is just one main course and the alternative is vegetarian. Not quiet what I expect of a hotel member of Relais et Château. The service on the whole was friendly and efficient. However the reception could do with improvement. On the whole the hotel is overrated and overpriced. Shame really. The location is super and very quiet.

Visited the Bellevue Park Hotel for a ”spa & lunch”- day and left disappointed. The spa is really small and felt really overcrowded on a day with bad weather. The level of cleanliness wasn’t sufficient for a 4- star hotel. The changing room is extremely small with lockers on both sides of the room. Barely enough room for 2 people. However, the lunch was really nice and the service was top-knotch.

I can only describe this hotel as a budget hotel charging 4 star prices! Throughout our road trip around Switzerland we have so far stayed in 7 hotels, with this one being the worst experience by far. Prior to arrival the staff I communicated with to arrange our stay were extremely helpful as were the staff on reception when we arrived but these were the only two good things about this hotel. Here are the cons: - On arrival there are only steps up to the hotel with no one to help with luggage. When you have two large cases this is not a great welcome - we were informed there was a touch pad in the room which would give us all the info we needed for the hotel, however this was only available In French or German! - through Google translate we worked out there was no room service option - but only the option of the restaurant, which required formal dress. As we are on a hiking holiday we did not have anything and therefore unable to eat in the hotel. We understand the dress code but at least give an option of room service for those who do not want to dress up - there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and we were not made aware of use of a machine anywhere in the hotel - no fruit in the room on arrival, just toffees! - only warm sparkling water, no still in the room - dressing gowns looked very used / dirty - the fridge in the room was useless as a fridge, did not cook our drinks at all. - the balcony was separate by a few small planters to the room next door, so very little privacy - the first day at breakfast there was no one to great us and no sign to say wait to be seated, so we chose a table, when the waitress finally came to offer tea or coffee she never asked us for our room number or name. The following day we assumed as it was not an issue the day before we could sit where we want. Again no sign of the waitress so we chose a table and started to get our breakfast. The waitress then came over and told us to move as we had to sit in the same places as we did last night!! As we did not eat there last night, this did not make any sense and she insisted we move as the table was reserved for a family, even though nearly every other table was free! If this is the system, this needs to be explained either on arrival or the first morning at breakfast and put a sign up as on both occasions the waitress was no where to be seen so we assumed we seat ourselves. To move someone mid breakfast is utterly ridiculously and extremely bad customer service - as for the choice of breakfast, it was extremely poor and minimal options - Apart from the pre chopped fruit there was no fresh fruit option. - the cereal we poured out had a bug in it that ended up in our bowl - when asked if they do any hot food, the response was yes, I had to ask what and was told egg! Just egg, nothing else - no toaster For what they are charging compared to what they offer is a complete joke, I would suggest to anyone looking for a nice luxury stay to avoid this ho
