"Being controlled by this Sri Lankan hotel! This time when I came to Sri Lanka, the Coast67 hotel I stayed at was absolutely amazing! The location is great. I chose a hotel near the sea because I wanted to surf in Kabalana. Although the waves here are not as friendly as those in Weligama, it is cleaner! The hotel is just a few steps away from the sea and the beach. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was soft, and there was a small balcony with sea breeze. The hotel restaurant is also remarkable! The food is very fresh. I originally booked for two nights, but ended up extending it for two more nights. This hotel added a lot of points to my trip to southern Sri Lanka. The boss said I was the first Chinese guest booked through Ctrip, hahahaha 😂 Then I really need to write this review seriously! The service is impeccable. Every morning you can see the boss busy at work, doing his best to provide good service personally. The staff is also warm and thoughtful, responsive, and the stay experience is great! Come to southern Sri Lanka and choose this one, just close your eyes and go! (Also because the hotel is new enough, the hygiene is very good, I hope it will continue to be maintained 😋)"

"LUM Apartment was the best value for our trip, far exceeding our expectations. The apartment is just over 600 meters from the beach, and because it was quite hot, we chose to go to the beach in the evening when it was less crowded and the scenery was beautiful. "We arrived at Palm Garden in mid-May, which is the end of the high season in southwestern Sri Lanka, so the hotel was relatively quiet and uncrowded. The rooms are clean and spacious, with high ceilings and a pleasant view of the pool. The grounds are green, well-maintained, and very atmospheric. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The breakfasts are also quite good by local standards. The sea is a bit far—about a 15-20-minute walk or about a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride—but otherwise, everything was great."

"We stayed here for the second time in January. We received a very warm welcome. The hotel only has five rooms. The rooms are very spacious and have a lovely terrace. From the terrace, you can watch peacocks, water buffalo, and monkeys – simply wonderful. The bathroom is also beautiful and roomy. Breakfast is fantastic – every day there is fruit, banana bread, bread, buffalo yogurt, and a dish you can choose from the menu. The food at the hotel is excellent; it's well worth eating there in the evening. We think the location is great. The whole team is very attentive, but we would especially like to thank Khalana."

"This is the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. The entire room is covered in rat droppings. There's no hot water. At night, mice or rats would crawl around the room and gnaw on the cookies until I got up and put them in the fridge. We stayed for one night to decide where to stay on the coast. Do not stay at this hotel under any circumstances; it's simply unsafe from a health standpoint."
