"The hotel is superb! The staff is super friendly and the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean! The only thing that is a bit of a shame is the Wi-Fi connection; depending on where the room is located, the Wi-Fi will be more or less intense. The same goes for the televisions, which must be reconnected each time they are turned on because they are on the public network. Aside from that, I highly recommend this hotel for both a short and long stay!"

"Hotel La Berengere is easy to find, on the right just after the first roundabout as you enter Perouges (and before the left turn up to old Perouges village). If you don’t have a Satnav it might be slightly difficult as the hotel is hidden behind a high hedge. Parking is plentiful. Although we were an hour early, the charming lady let us book into our room, which is what I’d describe as plain and functional, but perfectly comfortable and with a very smart en-suite. The lobby area in reception is smart and comfortable and there is also a nice patio and pool area. The hotel is situated just on the edge of Meximieux and is a comfortable 20 minute walk into the old village of Perouges. Meximieux is where you will find all the usual facilities but if you like a beer in the evening I warn you that there aren’t many bars in town. I found two - L’Aquarelle and the Lion d’Or (the latter being very good) which are both no more than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. You can, of course, get beer in the hotel. Breakfast was very good and, in addition to fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals etc, there was a decent selection of cold meats, cheeses and hard boiled eggs all served with plenty of bread and croissants. Although the coffee was from a machine it was actually OK. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly use the hotel again. "

"Mam na myśli, że ten hotel jest opcją, jeśli chcesz zatrzymać się blisko lotniska....pamiętaj, że po wyjściu z dworca autobusowego musisz trochę przejść pieszo...to jest w Ferney, czyli we Francji, nie w Szwajcarii, ale jest bardzo blisko granicy....pokoje są przestronne w porównaniu do tych w Genewie...wewnętrzny basen to zdecydowanie plus...więc ogólnie rzecz biorąc, jeśli chcesz tanio zatrzymać się blisko lotniska w Genewie, to nie jest tak źle"

"We reserved La Villa du Lac because of the SPA and nice restaurant on the pictures at "stay for long". In reality it was a horrible ghost hotel - the SPA was closed with NO water, the restaurant was also closed like the main hotel see foto's. Stay for long diden't want to pay any of the approximately 200 Euro per day back or talk about any compensation :-( The promised WIFI diden't work, so we got a big bill for mobile data when we got home. Stay Away from La Villa du Lac and Don't use "Stay for long" for booking !!"

The common rooms are pleasant, our room ok nothing more, but be careful of the rest… The hotel is located on the edge of a fairly noisy road, but above all the swimming pool had no parasols, there were no towels available for the swimming pool, neither at the edge of the pool nor elsewhere, and ESPECIALLY the managers did not allow us to stay at the swimming pool the next day after check-out time, which was precisely our goal on this heatwave day . In addition, the person in charge told us that they wanted everyone to leave the site the next day after 11:00 a.m. I had never experienced this, in my opinion this is not a way to please visitors.
