Very good location, needs a little refresh but very good you can eat and use partner hotels

Great location and nice big, if a little dated, rooms. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, pool area was nice and never too busy. Food was OK, pretty much as you'd expect. Only downside was the lack of an indoor bar area and the fact they closed the bars very early, generally around 11:45.

We opted for all inclusive family holiday which did not disappoint! We stayed in an apar**ent at the Muthu Oura Praia and went to eat at the buffet at Forte da Oura which was delicious every meal time. We appreciated the option to enter different hotel locations and use their pool also. It can be quite lively with Stag and Hen parties (so if this is not to your taste I would avoid) however our young boys loved interacting with the characters around the pool. Although lively with these party revellers there was still a great mix of ages. We did come out of season (before a school holiday) and thankful it was not so busy that we couldn’t get a sun lounger.

Natalia is very nice and the rooms are perfect for a good holiday. Service is very good, definitely stay at this hotel. The food is very good, breakfast, lunch and dinner and it is very close to the main *****s which is very good as well. I would recommend.

We loved our stay here , staff were all very friendly and helpful and food at the hotel was amazing , great flavours and a wide variety of choices. Head chef Rajesh was very welcoming and always on hand to advise on dishes .We will certainly be returning.

We are a couple from Ireland and we decided to go to Portugal as we have never been here. I was looking for a nice hotel in Albufeira,and when I saw the pictures of the lobby/reception area I booked it and it didn’t disappoint me! Beautiful hotel all over,GORGEOUS FOOD,I mean the best food we ever had in a hotel. So many options every day,and the staff is very nice and polite. I mean overall everyone is so nice here, the hotel is so well kept, we alwasy see the staff around being busy,everything is spotless here. Reception staff is amazing,all of them,we have been looked after by Miguel and Fernando mostly and they couldn’t have been more helpful.There is entertainment every evening for those who is not going out,and it’s brilliant. We have seen Mauro Silva singing and he is an amazing talent with beautiful voice! Sadly this is our last night, we will go to watch a magic show tonight and will fly back home in the morning. It was an amazing experience,hopefully we will be back again!

Be aware before you travel that this hotel has five stars on the basis of its leisure facilities. It is not a five star, but a good three star at best. The hotel is spotlessly clean though, and both the rooms and the apar**ents are of a good size. Be aware that you will be presented with a set of rules suitable not for adults paying for an all inclusive holiday in a five star hotel, but for recalcitrant twenty somethings - no drinks in the lobby, no food or drinks may be taken from the restaurant, and best of all, no drinks may be brought to your room and no room service is available. The vaunted selection of restaurants available is in fact, the restaurant of each of the sister hotels with different themes on different nights, including several which are actually benches underneath awnings in a green space although they are styled as separate restaurants. All of the restaurants are not open all of the nights. You will have to pre book to get a table or otherwise will have no choice but to eat in the underwhelming and understaffed in-house restaurant. In counterpoint to this the staff are without exception - hard working, helpful and pleasant.

Lovely apar**ent, great facilities and ideal location, quiet for us. Holiday to go to. Have been coming here for 20 years love the people, location and helpful friendly staff, great food selection. What’s not to like. Highly recommend to stay at his hotel.
