Plus Hotel is located far from all attractions. (Vatican 15 minutes by car) Walking is unrealistic, as it is on a hill and there is virtually no road for walking. It can be seen that the last renovation was at least 10 years ago, but its obsolescence is not very depressing, as the hotel is really well looked after! Really Very clean everywhere! The room is just huge, with a seating area and a balcony. Not a bad spa area with a pool (though for a hotel cost of 20 euros)

Pros: - Absolutely fantastic design, perfect blend blend of the historical premise with modern design - Good breakfast: no rushed buffet but stellar a la carte service by attentive staff. - Reception is very helpful with just about anything - Rooms have all the typical amenities, but high attention to detail and quality (e.g. Aqua di Parma shower gel, very cool furniture) Cons: - Might be expected in the city center but rooms were quite noisy. The problem is that the hotel itself adds to the noise with music till very late night. I am a good sleeper but I can imagine this will upset many travelers. The hotel leaves earplugs in the bathroom if that’s an omen. - Service at the swimming pool is not at the same level as the breakfast.

Hotel conveniently located next to The Vatican in a quiet neighbourhood with many restaurants, cafes, clothing stores within a 5-10 minute walk. Hotel staff very professional and friendly. Special mention to Front Desk Agent Chiara Stage who went above and beyond in ensuring we got the most out of our short time there. We had a lovely balcony and a large bathroom. The room was spotless and modern with flat screen tv. The only complaint being that the pillows and matress were too hard for my comfort.

What a wonderful surprise. Down a little dirt track is an exquisite farm stay. Peter and Sue were incredibly welcoming. Peter let me know of a little grocers in town, if I wanted a good curry meal. When I returned to heat it up, he kindly set the table for me to enjoy my meal (I had even brought some paper plates and cutlery, as I wasn't sure if there was any at the time). Every attention to detail and their preemptive service is second to none. Best of all was the time I got to spend with Jack and Riley, the border collies, who were so much fun. I really miss my own canine company when I travel, so this was just perfect. The air is fresh and clean, the views superb, the breakfast outstanding (although my eyes are too big for my stomach) and the bed super comfy with electric blankets. The bathroom beautifully appointed, with a scented candle and sustainable products. I honestly couldn't fault a thing. I just wish I could have stayed longer.

Very nice hotel. The surrounding scenery is very beautiful. The hotel covers a very large area. In addition to accommodation, there are bars and restaurants. The only thing that needs to be adapted is that the floor of the hotel is wooden and it is a bit creaky to walk. The lemon tree in the hotel is really good, with a lot of lemons growing. It is the season of lemon ripening before Christmas.

Travelling frequently for work, I try to find some unusual accommodation stays when I can, as hotels start to look the same everywhere. Well this stay at Drom Aluinn B&B absolutely bowled me over. What a wonderful surprise. Down a little dirt track is an exquisite farm stay. Peter and Sue were incredibly welcoming. Peter let me know of a little grocers in town, if I wanted a good curry meal. When I returned to heat it up, he kindly set the table for me to enjoy my meal (I had even brought some paper plates and cutlery, as I wasn't sure if there was any at the time). Every attention to detail and their preemptive service is second to none. Best of all was the time I got to spend with Jack and Riley, the border collies, who were so much fun. I really miss my own canine company when I travel, so this was just perfect. The air is fresh and clean, the views superb, the breakfast outstanding (although my eyes are too big for my stomach) and the bed super comfy with electric blankets. The bathroom beautifully appointed, with a scented candle and sustainable products. I honestly couldn't fault a thing. I just wish I could have stayed longer.
