The location of the hotel is great, easy walk to the town and beach. The room was dark and un welcoming, with black bedding and an extremely hard mattress ! Unfortunately there are some maintenance issues , as water was dripping from the ceiling when there was heavy rain. The bathroom however was excellent, good light and storage. Great shower. Lovely breakfast.

My husband and I spent a week at the Hotel Le Ponteil and highly enjoyed our stay. It is such a cozy place! Eva & Martin run the hotel with very high hospitality. The place is a green and lovingly designed oasis close to the ancient center of Antibes. We always returned in the evening happily to the property to have a little nightcap in the lounge.
Eva also paints oysters, which are small and unique pieces of art. Three of her beautiful and intricately painted pieces have traveled home with us as stylish souvenirs for ourselves and a loved one.
We highly recommend!!!

I never expected to have an experience like this in Antibes and I was totally surprised! Definitely one of the most charming hotels I’ve ever been. The owners are totally relaxed, super friendly and helpful. You feel like being part of the family. The breakfast in the beautiful garden is the best start in a new day you can have!

The owner is so sweet and helpful both in terms of sharing knowledge of the area and taking care of me at the hotel. The breakfast was also incredible, if I’m ever back I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Super cozy little hotel in Antibes. Not far away from the beach and the old town. The breakfast in the garden is a must.
The owner Martin was super helpful with recommendations around town.
We will absolutely visit this charming hotel again.

Disappointing, I was given a family room in the car park , dehumidifier running, black mould in the grout surrounding the bath tub. grubby shower curtain .yuk . White bedsheets that were grey, duvet had no cover ..Then water coming up through floor of bathroom . Received a refund and moved hotels . The new hotel was clean , charming and the owner was the kindest and most thoughtful gentleman , who fully understood that the beginning of my holiday had started badly

So I changed the hotel after one night. Although I had booked for more. This is a guesthouse. My room was old, tiny, super loud and a bit smelly. It is a joke, my student room back in Uni days wa nicer. My matress must have been old as well. It felt really unpleasant and uber soft! The hosts a welcoming, but this place feels weird. It needs a proper renovation. I would never ever recommend this. It is a shame and I really dont understand what other reviewers find positive. Breakfast is typically frensh.

Hosts Efva and Martin couldn’t be more amenable and friendly. Great breakfast, excellent location,five minutes to the beach, ten minutes to the Old Town and it’s bars and restaurants. Juan les Pins beach a pleasant fifteen minute walk away. Don’t be put off by the two star rating as the rooms were good, large bathroom, outside seating and a very pretty garden. I would choose a room within the house next time as the rooms were larger and some with a private balcony. Great place to stay, sorry about the knife Martin !
