DoubleTree by Hilton Changbaishan Hot Spring

The hotel facilities were excellent. The service great. The food, including the buffet breakfast, was exceptional but the real benefit of this hotel was the world class mineral Springs facility which was excellent in every regard. Not sure if we’ll be able to make it back, but if I was in the area, this would be my first choice. Thanks to Eric for everything.

Very underwhelming hotel facilities. The hotel laundry service was priced far too high. When the hotel staff came up to collect our laundry and we gave feedback about the pricing, she left without coming back to follow up with us. The staff also came across as slightly dismissive, explaining that the pricing was “normal.” I live in Singapore, which is already an expensive city, and even there we do not have such unreasonable laundry prices. You could practically buy three new pairs of socks for the cost of washing one pair. They even asked us which city we had visited previously, and we mentioned Shenyang. The staff then said the laundry pricing there was standard because he had worked there before, which was honestly not true. We paid much less at hotels in Shenyang and even received free laundry services. To their credit, they did compensate us by allowing five pieces of clothing to be washed for free and offering 20% off the remaining items. However, with the amount of laundry we needed to do, the total still came up to nearly 500 yuan, which was far too expensive.I hope the hotel can reconsider and improve the laundry pricing in the future. On the first day of check in ERIC 和Jackson assisted us and even taught us how to buy the tickets for changbaishan. However they were on break during the rest of our stay which led to quite an unpleasant stay. The ground crew did not communicate and handover properly and they forgot that we were going to the mountain and made us wait over 30 minutes in the lobby for the transport that never came. Location wise, there’s nothing nearby and food choices were limited. However it is very near to the changbaishan mountain and this making the trip to the mountain relatively accessible. Hotel Breakfast is not bad too, many choices and the concierge is really friendly and helpful. Overall it was an alright stay but we expected better service for the price we paid for.

Double Tree Hilton is awesome hotel with professional service from the ground staffs. Friendly front desk staffs, attentive housekeeping team Wonderful buffet breakfast and dinner at the "LUSH" ALL DAY DINING team. Double Tree signature biscuit is always our favorite and thanks for the free Valcano onsen and free ride back and forth to the ski activities. Will definitely stay here again for our further visits

The location is great! Among all the services, the bus services were the best. My complaint is the room service. We never had enough towels for some reason. Usually hotels provide abundant amount of towels. But In this case, I had to ask every time. Especially with the hot spring, we had a lot of use of towels. We had two kids but somehow when I asked for kids robes they only sent one. I was confused why the service was so half-hearted given how much we had paid for the stay. Other than that little hiccup, our stay was excellent. Shout out to them having a kids playspace in the lobby. Saved a lot of headaches during the check-in process. Will go back!

We just love this lovely hotel surrounded by the forest and mountain! The buffet dinner was a pleasant surprise to us with the good variety of local foods. The hot spring opposite to the hotel was another place you should not miss too.

Great locations and friendly staffs! Room was super clean. It also provides VIP shuttle service to the gate so we didn’t have to wait for our ticket entrance time. Highly recommend!
