I stayed here for three nights in June after a cruise of the Adriatic Sea. The hotel itself is cutely designed, with a flair for modern decor and is also in an excellent location (you walk out of the hotel and right into Omonia metro). Compared with some other Moxy hotels I've stayed in, the rooms in this hotel are quite spacious and the welcome drink at the bar was a nice touch. The staff are genuinely friendly and want to help you. Where this hotel falters, then, is in two areas, both of which fall under the umbrella of service. One is Marriott's fault- since I booked this hotel as a Bonvoy award stay, I didn't receive the free breakfast that (presumably) all paying guests receive. Shame that Marriott doesn't think highly enough of a Gold Elite member to offer a reward redemption with the same amenities as others. The other fault (which is directly the hotel's fault) is how many times it took for me to have to ask to have my room tidied. I get that the hotel doesn't change sheets every day, but I did ask for my room to be tidied (which they explicitly state you can do). It wasn't done until I asked THREE TIMES. I first asked the housekeepers on the floor, who assured me they'd take care of it, then I called the front desk, who assured me the next day they'd take care of it, and only the afternoon of that second day, after I personally went up to the desk and asked a third time was my room actually tidied. In short: This is a chic, well-located hotel that's let down by some poor service choices. Tighten these up, Moxy, and you'll have a home run on your hands.
