I worked in hotel management as an assistant general manager, manager, supervisor as well as a housekeeper so I know everything there is to know about the hotel business and one thing for sure that is completely unacceptable as well as a hazard to our health is roaches. This room that I stayed in did not just have one roach it had an infestation like I’ve never seen before and I’ve seen a lot.I would post pictures but don’t have that option. When I went to speak with management and show them pictures in hopes that they would immediately come to the room with me and address the issue at that moment. I also wanted a refund for being put in such filth. Not only did I not get a penny back for my stay the young lady was extremely rude she refused to come to the room with me to see this issue at hand and very nastily refused a refund. In my career over the years in the hotel business I have been fortunate to work for higher end brands but I’m not judgmental as to if I stay at a hotel/and or motel and I absolutely am not a complainer because I myself know what days at work can be like so for me to complain it had to be urgent and no help at all. It’s was very sad for me to see how the customer service role was played out there. I will never step foot back on that property.
