Checking in was a funky experience because it’s done through a zoom like interaction with someone off site. Was easy enough though. Room was spacious and clean. Parking and the property was also great. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

We have stopped here many times over the years and found good value. More recently prices have escalated significantly. Make your reservation directly by phone as the personal communication about the room is helpful to understand what your getting. The views and location determine room price. Second floor with Ocean view seems best for us. Some second floor rooms do not have elevator access just stairs. As time goes on, some of the larger plants are beginning to block the ocean views. No pets. Coffee in lobby after 7 am. Nice people.

Did not take photos, the location of the hotel is OK, on the side of the No. 1 highway, using domestic navigation software is very easy to find, the hotel is relatively quiet, there is a big shopping center across the road, there is a gas station next to the hotel, the same There is a chain restaurant in the yard. I use the room card to check out 20% discount. I ate it. I am very satisfied. I can't eat this Western food at the same price in Beijing. There is a free parking lot, and if you arrive early, the car can be parked at the door of your own room. Room facilities are general, the room is not big, I feel that the extra bed must move the big bed, but I don’t know if there is an extra bed service in the hotel. The bed is 1.5 meters wide and just fits 2 people to sleep. The covered quilt is a blanket and there is a blanket below. The big sheets are similar to the way hotels in China were more than a decade ago. Although there are two-package clauses at the time of booking, the breakfast is very simple. Just put a juice machine and coffee machine on the side of the front desk, a snack box, a small fruit bowl, and stand there to eat a snack mat. I am embarrassed to eat too much. This hotel is still ok for a night of walking. I lived on weekends. The price has doubled. If the price is around 400 yuan, the price is still very high.

These are condos, not a ”hotel” We had a 1br and there was a fireplace and kitchen with fridge & microwave. There was no A/C, but it was cool enough to open the windows even in August. It is older, but updated and the condo was clean. The linens were cheap and there is minimal kitchen ware, but adequate for a 2 night stay. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach and the sunrise & sunsets, although most shops & restaurants were closed due to Covid. But the Pismo Beach Pier was a short drive and open with many restaurants and shops.

Super good, suitable for a family, especially a family with children, vacation on the beach: There are playgrounds for children to play with more facilities, such as table tennis, badminton, slides, etc. The swimming pool is also good, that is, there have always been two wild ducks coming to swim. By the swimming pool, there is also a bath with surf. The front desk was also very welcoming, providing hot water and coffee, and cookies in the afternoon. The restaurant is also relatively large, and the waffles will help you bake them. There are many drinks, in addition to coffee and fruit juice, it also provides a variety of brewed tea bags. Since it is a suite, it is basically 2 rooms. The room we stayed in had 3 beds, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony with partial sea views. There is a lot of space and there is no problem with the family.

I stayed at Spyglass Inn with my 11 yo daughter, my cousin, and her 10 yo. The girls enjoyed the hot tub and pool and we really LOVED the fire pit area. It was so beautiful outside with the flowers, the view and walking path. We got to make smores and watch the sunset! We did have an incident with our initial room where there were a bunch of gnats or flies, but the hotel staff responded quickly and moved our room. This was a bummer because that room felt more updated and had partial ocean view. We ended up in a lower level room with a nice back patio. It wasn't as updated as the first room, but it was still nice and did what we needed it too, which was to provide us a comfortable place to sleep. The room was bug free and there was enough space for the four of us. I wouldn't say it was the best room we've ever been in but overall it was fine. There is a portable fan, wifi, small fridge, desk, and chair, drawers for clothes if needed, and a tv. The TV was terrible quality BUT who needs a tv while you're on vacation anyways lol Lastly, it was quiet for us. We had no issues with noise. They have a microwave in the lobby and some free refreshments (coffee, tea, water). You can also purchase snacks from them. We would stay again specifically for the customer service and the outside fire pit area. Also, parking was included which was very much appreciated.

This is a very nice hotel but much better suited to families than a couple looking for quiet. The rooms are set very close and surrounding the pool so there’s a lot of noise on the weekends. (I have no issue with kids - this was my lack of due diligence reading former reviews.) Also having just come from an ocean view hotel in Santa Barbara which was as nice or nicer tan this one, we feel the hotel is highly overpriced.

The room is a small suite with a sofa outside and a small living room. At 6: 00-8: 00 in the evening, the courtyard can also BBQ, you can eat hot hot dogs and freshly grilled steak, not bad. Drinks are free, including beer and red wine. There is also a swimming pool in the yard where you can swim 🏊. Breakfast is free and fairly rich. Not bad. The disadvantage is that the building where I live is close to the road and it is a bit noisy at night.
