The location of the hotel and the staff are great. The rooms may be a little unusual in distribution but the view makes up for it, at least in the room we stayed in. The room was clean and well-maintained. There is direct access to the water through the dock with staircases. You could swim or taller people could almost to the island in front of the hotel. There is no beach but the island has a very shallow 1 m or so deep waters. One could stay here just for the view. The staff is very nice and helpful. When we stayed they had kayaks that you could take out for free for an hour or so each day. This was one of the highlights of our stay in Bacalar.

I extended and enjoyed my four day stay at the laid back Casa Arabe. Most will go to Bacalar for the lagoon and this place has a great view from the many hangout spots in the garden that is directly to the lagoon. From the dock there are tours on different types of boats, canoes and paddle boards. Could the rooms use a renovation - sure they could (and is apparently planned). But it’s perfectly located for lagoon views and with very friendly staff it makes it made it great value for money in my opinion. Thanks Yousef and especially Shiraz for making my stay very pleasant 🙂

Excelente vista de la laguna de los siete colores ,un atardecer espectacular,cuentan con bar y tienen eventos de musica en vivo ocasionalmente , comida muy buena y los mejores carajillos y mezcalitas.

En términos generales me pareció un buen hotel. Pros: Excelente ubicación Diseño arquitectónico estilo árabe Alimentos ricos y abundantes Cons: Rentan o prestan el muelle para tours, lo cual disminuye la posibilidad de acceder a la laguna o descansar frente a ella En los baños el espacio entre el WC y la pared es diminuto lo cual lo hace incómodo

Ci hanno consigliato Casa Arabe per l'aperitivo. Non saprei consigliare l'hotel ma è sicuramente un bel posto che si affaccia su un piccolo porticciolo, dove bere qualcosa per ammirare il tramonto sulla laguna di Bacalar. Si può anche cenare, con piatti prevalentemente arabi.

La estancia fue de lujo, la ubicación, las instalaciones , el trato del personal fue excepcional, Shiraz en recepción junto con Yusef fueron tan amables y atento en nuestros pedidos que sin dudas te sientes excelente, el chico del bar de 10 con sus tragos. El espacio está diseñado para que puedas relajarte y disfrutar de tu estancia. 100 % recomendado.

El trato es increíble, Shiraz es la mejor anfitriona que podría tener casa arabe, un trato increíble y sobretodo una cocina deliciosa!! Shiraz tuvo un detalle increíble al saber que era cumpleaños de mi novio, y después de ayudarme con un pastel durante la cena, le dio una tarta increíble de nuez con helado de vainilla. Súper recomendable el hosped**** en Casa Arabe, trato lindo, vista mas que increíble y comida del otro mundo!!!

Tiene la vista más espectacular de todo Bacalar. Su restaurante tiene excelente comida y ni qué decir de los tragos 10\10 Pedí un taco buenísimo (Shawarma), una mezcalita de moras y un pan de elote, increíble todo. Es abierto al público, abren de 4pm a 11pm y sus precios rondan entre 130 y 240 pesos. Les recomiendo venir al atardecer!!

Nous sommes arrivés dans l’après-midi, nos chambres étaient occupées, le personnel a mis ça sur le compte de l’application de réservation qui avait bugué. Or, les occupants des chambres, français, nous ont expliqué qu’ils étaient arrivés sans réservation dans matinée et que l’établissement leur a demandé de payer en cash... Très sympathique, ils nous ont fait visiter, les chambres sont mieux en photo, le bâtiment est vieillissant... Nous avons finalement trouvé un autre hôtel à la hâte sous le déluge de la queue de l’ouragan Grace, une expérience très désagréable!!
